Pipe Braid DIY - Single Infinity Braid - EASY

- I've been seeing the Pipe Braid all over Instagram lately. It's such a cool braid and it's perfect for the festival season, but it will look amazing for almost any occation. You can wear it double, single, messy or neat - it will look cool no matter how you wear it. I've wanted to do the braid ever since I saw it, and I've found a way to achieve the look in a DIY friendly way.
The braid is inspired by hairstylist Nicci Welsh who also have tutorials on how to create the braid on her channel: Hau2. I've linked Nicci's videos below with the original technique, so go check them out as well.
If you don't have a lot of time or just want to do a quick braid, you can pull the hair further back, but you can also start the braid with a tiny section at the front, if you want a more edgy look.

How these girls do their own hair and make it look so great is beyond me. Anytime i try to do own hair it's a train wreck. And I'm a hair stylist! I can do everyone else's hair no problem. But i can't reach behind my head and get it right

Hi Cutie8pie. You're welcome :)
If your hair is very slippery it might help to spray it with some texture spray - that way you'll have better grip and it will help to hold your hair in place.
It could also be you need to keep holding the previous strand tight with the oppesite hand, while you're wrapping the new strand around the main section. When you have combined the previous strand with the main section you still need to keep a firm grib. You also have to hold the braid close to your head when you're doing the braid.
