I dont think it is about being right or not. Emotional situations are more complicated than that. I don't even think we want to go and see Lena, I feel we're feeling so far away from Foster rn.. like she's holding so tight to things are making her happy and is not like we are not part of them, but it's a complicated week, and I think we needed the attention and love for a moment. We are going through a lot, and it is really hard to ask for closeness, and maybe we want her to be like PLEASE DONT GO I LOVE YOU. And sometimes we just don't know how to ask for that.
Maybe this is another 'Elle tests her mental fortitude' thing. If she can face Lena in that cell, she can testify and send her down at the trial without some kind of breakdown? Just spitballing reasons why here...

Almost the opposite And as much as she says "it's not about me" over and over Lena did in fact hurt Foster too. She made her job unbearably stressful. She threatened the life of her beloved partner. She nearly killed her in laws. She gave her cuts and bruises that needed stitches and created a situation that caused PTSD for Foster as well as Elle. It's about both of them at this point and both of them should be recognising that and making decisions about it like the team they are! E, this is better than many actual shows and it's just you with your microphone and computer!
Is Foster selfish? Foster, noooooo. The only thing you want is a quiet, safe life where you don't have to fight with exes every day. And, since it was worth such an effort to finally end this struggle, it makes sense that you don't want to see the drama anymore, that you don't want to plunge into trouble again, you don't want to see your partner suffer. Is this selfishness? This is the only common sense. I'm so damn sorry that this wonderful woman literally finds herself in situations every time where she seems to have to apologize all the time, for her work, for her decisions, for her words, even though she never, EVER wanted to hurt anyone. And maybe, well, MAYBE she deserves to be thanked, to be listened to, considering what moral strength it cost her to get out of all this and not go crazy.

I agree. My heart hurts for Foster. She has her flaws but is ultimately a kind, loving, passionate, talented and funny person that deserves more peace than life is giving her at the moment. Both she and Elle deserve to be safe and happy after all they have suffered. And I would call that has happened to them suffering. I want to hug them both!

Sometimes the biggest way to help someone clear their mind is to just be there, no big words or advice needed. Maybe just reassuring them that they will figure this out together, instead of just leaving upstairs. 😟😰 SMALL THE LAST OF US 2 SPOILER: There is a great scene in The Last of Us 2 where Dina comforts Ellie in their hideout in a theater and takes care of her injuries after she confronts one of her enemies in a hospital. It's a perfect example of what I mean with “no big words needed”. It was a powerful scene. END OF SPOILER I understand that Foster herself struggles a lot with this situation, so I can't be too mad at her. And luckily she seemed to understand it a bit better after L fainted. 🥲 As for the situation itself: I can see both sides, but lean more towards L. She was abused for years by Lena and even after their break-up it didn't stop. Confronting her now after all this time, seeing Lena physically in jail - it may just be what L needs to move on. I don't know what her exact motive with this is, but right now or somewhere during the upcoming trial may be the only two chances she gets to say her piece to Lena. I'm not sure how it works in the US or particularly in Los Angeles, but when Lena most likely gets convicted, she may just refuse receiving L as a visitor afterwards. It would be her final straw of not giving L the satisfaction of a final confrontation and thus the chance of a bit of closure. 😔🖤❤️🩹
