I have this same 9 tray Excalibur (not digital) and a 5 tray for smaller jobs. I love them and the pull out trays. I do a lot of dehydrating especially frozen hash browns and frozen veggies. I also have two Nesco American Harvest and the Nesco Pro. I love them too and they can stack over 10 trays. They are all great work horses and very easy cleanup.
In considering these units what you need to do is start with actual customer reviews at the 3-Star level. You do that and immediately, you'll eliminate the Chefman and the Colzer. The Magic Mill similarly with a lot of complaints about not hitting the 165+ temp range for beef jerky as well, as many comments about cheap plastic construction. Excalibur units- util you hit the $300+ range consumers don't have high grades for them and the one in the link here is no longer available. I have the Corsori 600w, 6-tray dehydrator sitting on my dining room table- just delivered yesterday. Of the group, Corsori (the unit reviewed here is no longer available) 600w compares closer to the Magic Mill in this review and fares better overall, however, once again at the 3-Star level reviews there are a lot- a LOT of complaints of the machine simply not holding up and failing to run properly after limited use and time frames. On the upside to that, Corsori has a 2-year limited warranty. So you should be pretty good at least for two years. Personally, I didn't dig deep enough into this before going ahead and ordering the Corsori. (Note to self: Do not order anything online after 11 o'clock at night... especially if alcohol is involved.) At this point, I've decided to pack the Corsori back up and return it. I'm going to replace it with Septree's Upgraded for 2023 800w 8 tray unit, which I picked up on seeing it in one of the food hydration forums on Facebook. For $10 bucks more, it appears to offer a lot more bang for the buck.

May I know please if it has freez drying (cold freeze air)? I prefer it for vegies and fruits

Is there freeze cold air in Excabilur dryer machine? Or only normal air for drying vegies & fruits?
