Making "NONPAREILLES" - soon available in my shop

This cute soap contains my luxurious shea butter recipe. I love the terrazzo style in soap and wanted to give it a try for such a long time. But as soon as I unmolded this soap, those sugarpearls came into my mind and so I named it "NONPAREILLES"
It was very complex to make this soap, because my recipe is pretty sticky after unmolding.
What means: making the blocks for the embeds - unmold them after 2 days - let them cure for 4 days - slice them - let the slices cure - slice them again - cure them again - seperate the trings - cure them agian - cut them into tiny cubes - use them as embeds after a few days - let the slab cure for 5 days - cut it - beveling the edges of the bars after a week... 🥴
BUT it was really fun to create this completely different design, plus knowing that it contains the most luxurious shea butter recipe.

I would call it Sage Rose Terrazzo
(definition from Google: flooring material consisting of chips of marble or granite set in concrete and polished to give a smooth surface. Example for this beautiful soap…the soap was finished in beautiful sage and rose terrazzo)

Hi. Thanks for your comment. That's technicly true, but in Europe we have to stick to assassments everytime we make soap we want to sell. What means there is a very precise specification how much/what colour/fragrence we use... So it's not possible for me to use offcuts, or soap shavings or so.

I'm curious as to why you do so much work on top of the scale, like mixing? Isn't that hard on the scale?

Thank you for watching my viedo. Sometimes I simply forget to put it off the scale. An other reason is, that in Europe we have to adhere to an assessment every time we make soap and so my next step after mixing is very likely weighing so I'll have to put my jug on the scale again anyway... 😂

Noone tells you to buy my soap but I think that I speak for every maker - regardless of the profession - that comments like your's hurt.
