India looks chaotic from outside but the more you dig inside the more gems you will discover…the only thing we need to work on is stop throwing rubbish on roads…the garbage in the beach made me sad…we are definitely working on it…behavioural change of habits which are been practiced since decades takes time but I see a new India in next 20 years….people are becoming conscious nowadays…

Loving this series , you are showing us parts of the country we’d never normally get to see , I don’t know if it’s just me but you both seem more relaxed/chilled out in your little rickshaw than you do driving around the UK , or is it the fact that you obviously love India. It’s like you’ve lived there all your lives , you should be travel guides. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Paul yes.... Liam and Janine seem happy and relaxed in India don't they. Iv just returned to the UK from India after doing a 3 year solo trip there!!!! I was slimmer, more relaxed and looked more vibrant on my India trip. Now I'm travelling in the uk and I'm certainly not that way anymore hahahaha. 😀 Iv swapped places with Liam and Janine. Whilst they were vlogging the UK I was vlogging India. Now they are vlogging India and I'm vlogging the UK lol 😀

What excites me is the fact that they are touring it all. I keep asking if they have any idea how long they wlll be staying in India 🇮🇳, no response but am still waiting to hear . As they approach Andra and Uttrah Pradesh , is so interesting , because their are people living in Forests the Government is unaware of. They tend to be the Bandera Gypsies there (unsure of spelling ) they are very dark and bang drums 🪘 and tambourines etc. They live deep in the forest. As you go through India you notice how the Gypsies (origin to Essau/Edomites transmigrated via Egypt to India etc especially, due to the Trade Routes.). Yet they have assimilated and are diverse. eg in Gudjerat there are many Jats of smaller proportions, whereas the Lamani Gypsies are extremely tall and slender , they live in the Mountains ⛰. Wearing expensive gold coins as Jewellery. The Kumbis don’t wear clothes and live on an island they are protected. As you venture nearer to Kashmir there are Cobra Gypsies and are snake charmers etc. At this time of year Indians come from throughout India to Goa to trade . Many areas have their own specialist Trades. Such as sewing, furniture and lamps etc hand engraved. Copper and brass to make eg Singing bowls. Spices etc etc it’s endless but it’s Particularist. I think India 🇮🇳 is one of the most interesting Countries. Whether they live near the sea as Sea Gypsies or whatever.

I live in chennai TamilNadu another major city of TN which 170 km away from ponidcherry north, Me and my family [dad, mom, me and sister] have been to auroville twice together, My uncle has a special permit and he can bring in guests to auroville for any number of days so we went to auroville as guests, At the time auroville was not for everybody and people had to have a contribution to place to go visit some places like the yoga hall there, A meditation sanction, Temples etc. Interestingly pondicherry is a union territory of french colonies before independence and still is. You will see alot of people speaking french and tamil, I've also been inside the yoga hall and there is a huge diamond which concentrates sunlight into a further sphere ball which then glows really bright inside the mandir. The best place to meditate imo and we were there for few minutes. I've planned to go to auroville again with my friends who haven't been there this year like in within 4-7 months.

Amazing to see you driving around in a rickshaw - you brave people ! I’ve always wanted to do that but knew it was a bit mad...so I’m going to Iive the adventure vicariously through you ! Gratitude!!
I love India, had been going back every year since living in Pondy and Auroville in the 90s. Then Covid hit, so haven’t been back for Too Long ! You had me in tears seeing Auroville again.
Wishing you a fabulous journey. I can recommend stopping off in Amoor near Trichy to stay with SEVAI who have some amazing rural projects they’ll be happy to share with you. Love those people.
Looking forward to seeing you get to Kunyakumari, it’s a very special place.

Loving your India travels. The ladies wanting their photo with you reminded me of visiting the Taj Mahal. I just wanted to feed the monkeys, but everyone wanted photos with us 😂 The food,as always, looks amazing. I struggled with all the spices though. My stomach was in bits. You are looking more confident driving Pete. I hope you are feeling it. I use the same mosquito repellent, otherwise I am mosquito feast 😂 The community in the forest looks amazing. Definitely somewhere to add to my bucket list. Enjoying your adventures immensely. Stay safe and happy travels xx

I just stumbled across your channel on this very rainy Irish day while looking for inspiration for the van I just bought and am about to convert. I just lost hours following your wild atlantic way videos and now just stumbled across this. I lived at Sadhana Forest for 3 years as a long term volunteer and used to give the Friday talks and tours (way back in 2009-12). Lovely to see how it has progressed over the years. Thanks for helping me relive many memories at home in Ireland and in India. Loving the positivity I find in your videos. Happy travels!!
