    "Supposedly" they have the same motors…. Basically they are made in China, except for the C-3 machines. I sold mine on eBay because the bags have increased in price to 4 bags for $29.99.. I do not like the attachments and according to my vacuum repair guy, the quality has diminished .

      for newer products they say may say made in america but they get all the parts shipped from china half assembled and then full assembly will happen in US

      On my C2 it says "assembled in China from components made in Germany and China". I am rather disappointed with it, I needed to replace my Swedish Eureka bought many years ago; thought the German material was better than that.
