@@robbedemey most of those coming in from Afghanistan, Parts of Africa and the Middle East can’t. Consider that most of them live in single rooms with a corrugated roof. They lack the skills needed to build our complex homes.

Immigrants can build houses. The issue is the supply of developable land on good locations.
