- This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences.
On a mission with sounds and emotions... Robert's musical output is inspiring and staggering. A true one-man operation, he writes, records and performs solo; commanding an ever-expanding touring schedule, tailoring the music he creates to the cities he visits. But that's only part of the puzzle, Babicz's art is comprised of more than just his music. He films everything. Using his music to open doors and build relationships with people in only the way music can, he then records his experiences and interaction on film, both still and moving, later editing the images together as a picture track to his audio. Robert creates short films that capture the emotions, colours and feel of his trips, his music and the people he finds who want to be part of that experience. In turn these then also have an effect on his music colouring his emotive, unique take on electronica with a very human feel. - เพลง
Plain and simple. Prodigy. This mans music will be remembered far after our lifetimes. At least by those who have a clue.

It's really TED Material. Robert Babics 29.10.2012 in Frankfurt by TEDxRheinMain. It was just a little story about his first steps of career. Sympatically, sometimes a littly bit lachrymosely, but interesting, espacially his music experiences in childhood.
Gracias Babicz
Sehr Sehr sympatisch

Ok, I'm sorry for being totally honest here, but I have to. I love this guy's music. I'm a DJ and I'm constantly buying his track to use on my sets. I really love his work. But what was to purpose of this lecture? What was the theme? He just told something about the story of his life, veeery slowly, then showed a clip and that's it? Really TED material? I think not, sorry.
"it's not for lack of love of the language that these films have no words. It's because, from my point of view, our language is in a state of vast humiliation. It no longer describes the world in which we live."
i think rhe lecture and his music gets it spot on.
out of curiosity, what is the name of that trangerine dream record??
can't find it either and there are so many of them
Weiß jemand, welches das erste release ist? Ich finde auf discogs nichts vor 93
click 'transcript' - your welcome
or where are the subtitles your talking about .....
Yes, you're right. His explanations are missing the point, nothing about an philosophie of music, like Adorno or Schönberg. It has been more aposite, the Ted-Organisizer titled the lecture elsethere like "Sound, Mind and Emotion - Who Music creates Musicians ".
Roberts monologue resting upon the psychological consequences of music, it affects not there theorie.
Well, since you agree with me that he mostly talks about his own experiences with music, and nothing else (no reflexions, no new ideais, nothing really) the title is a little bit exagerated, and at least IMHO, this is not TED material.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION PLEASE!!!???
It depends on what he is saying. Sometimes German is more concise than English. Sometimes not. That is my experience, anyway.
Is this right? He speaks like 100 words and the english subtitles show only 10.
it is. Few stylistic details got ommited but all meaning is there.
waste of time
