You have no idea how much I have been looking Forward to these nf reactions in the morning. Great motivation to get me through my busy mornings. ( I am not a morning person)😄
NF has the diversity that majority rappers just don't have. He can just do so much more with his voice. He sings better than most rappers n does so many styles. Just one of the most complete artists out there.
The dropping of letters are so the words work in the rhyme. He breaks syllabus up. Something He has talked about multiple times that you might not be aware of is that his perfectionism and OCD causes him to literally take days to choose the words for certain rhymes games. He will remove and replace words dozens of times and each track. Tommee his producer once made the analog it to him choosing words for songs similar to going in a field of snow and picking up each individual snowflake It's tedious but when it all comes together it's worth it. So I think sometimes he has chosen to drop words to change the sound in order to even finish the tracks
Love this song!!! I agree with you his rap voice is great. Not all rappers actually have a good rap voice lol. I think he is talking about his dad. I follow his wife on Instagram and she has mentioned NF dad several times coming to visit them in Tennessee and coming to shows so I think his relationship with his dad is much better now. 🙏🏻 Change is the song that helped me a lot when I was in a dark place so I hope we get to see the reaction 🤞🙌
Great Reaction as always!! 🔥🔥🔥 Also, he mentioned his Dad in one song before Mansion album. The song “Invisible” is where he talks about him on a personal level
When you said you just checked out change i went back to see if i had missed the notification but its not uploaded yet i guess. Will wait till the vid drops.
This track is my absolute favorite of NF. Fit the bill on every level for me. Glad you getting all this done...especially before we get what's coming next from him this year
I believe, Nate is rhyming of the “e” vowel in “Stress”, (to go w/stress, empty and empress just to name a few words he used), so the “h” sound is still there, but Nate chose to pronounce the “e” like in “h-Ead”. I think it was used for a smoother word flow scheme on top of this chiller beat:-) I’m sure others can go deeper into the descriptions and reasons, but this is mine simplified interpretation! He did it in “Why” too, rhyming the “y” and “hard i” throughout the entire song-:-)) Great reactions!
I didn't think of it at first but more recently listening to that line "don't want the meds" I remembered he lost his mom because she was addicted to pills so he probably has an even deeper level of anxiety when it comes to medication. He also mentions his dad very briefly in "Nate" one of the next songs you'll be reacting to.
I think the pronunciation thing of the "h" sound is just a stylistic choice that he makes when rhyming. He probably does the same thing in other songs, but it's much more noticeable here. Also, I think when he mentioned his "Pops" in the other song that is his grandpa and not his dad. I mean otherwise wouldn't he say pops again here if it were his dad? Just my thoughts on that. He has mentioned in interviews that he was mainly raised by his paternal grandparents and his dad, but his relationship with his dad wasn't a close one until more recently. He never really talks much about his other family members other than his mom. He has said that 1 of his sisters went down the path of alcoholism as her way of coping with their messed up childhood. He doesn't mention the other sister ever.
After hearing Nate sing my head enunciating the E to start the internal rhyme scheme it'd be hard to hear it any other way for me. Just sing the chorus out loud to yourself with his cadence over the beat. Saying my head regularly just feels very heavy and kills the flow. That's one of the great benefits of rap. At times, it's almost a science of picking apart words, vowels and syllables to make a song sound exactly like what you want. Dope reaction Trev! You're going to love Like This. He's in his melodic bag on that one. 🔥💯
😂 yeah I definitely get it. I know singers do that for better flow and just because they might sing it awkwardly so I respect it. It just shows he has skill. Plus I guess it helps with the rhyme scheme
Another great reaction!!!! You must not have posted the other NF video yet because I didn't see it. Hope you have a Blessed weekend. ~that girl from K-Town🤙🏼
Thank you. I hope you have a blessed weekend as well! As far as the upload goes for some reason it didn't upload so I had to reupload it. It's should be up now

I don't know why but I'm glad that im not the only one that can't get over the ead thing...My brain gets stuck on it every time and it's frustrating. Love the song ❤️ so I hope that my brain gets over it someday 😅😅😅
Yeah that's my only pet peeve for me. Like I mean no offense to the genius of NF BUT I just can't take this song seriously because I'm so focus on the ED and ELTHY 😂
@@TrevandErin exactly 😅 maybe I can put a *pip* sound there or a sound clip of him saying h from another song. 😅 I have two simular things in two of his other song that I can't unhear. I don't blame NF for it I blame my brain 😉😅❤️ NF is obviously amazing anyway ❤️ and is this three things the only things my brain gets stuck on of all his songs and videos, that's amazingly well done 😉😅❤️
NF's Dad got custody of him and his siblings at one point. Johnny, on the other hand, was the abusive stepfather he references in Intro III when he said that Johnny isn't going to line that I wrote a song for him without fear, but with anger. And maybe the "Ehhd" pronunciation is for emphasis in singing, or maybe NF decided to go Jamaican on us for a song.
Dude I watched you from the beginning. Evolve with him like he did in the journey. You pick up on practically every subtle thing that he does now. It's not just these reactions but also the T Mac actions you've been amazing and on point. You need to go to the real music store and get a "real" hat 😉.
🔥🔥💯💯 Reaction NFrealmusic 💯, I completely agree about small talk, especially when it's all negative, I really don't want to hear it. It's amazing how far mental health meds have come, but sad how much they can be over prescribed. NFREALMUSIC is my medicine.

9:27 he pronounces the “h” in heavy so I think he emphasized the “e” in healthy to go with the rhyme scheme in the verse. Same with the “e” in Head…. Just my thoughts. Especially reading through the comments, no one commented on the heavy. So he still pronounces the h but only doesn’t when he needs to manipulate it for the rhyme scheme. At least you know what he’s still saying if you’re not reading the lyrics. I’ve already heard the “h” until you pointed it out 😂😂😂

Yeah I think this is the first time he's ever mentioned his dad directly. I know he's mentioned Johnny(which I assume is who abused him) and he's mentioned his mom, his wife, a gf he had, and that's about it unless pops was referring to his grandad
@@TrevandErin poorly but yes. Lol. I’m a local singer/songwriter for hobby. Not till I only learned things like that because I was trying to figure out why my voice was weaker at the end of phrases. He does a lot of punching when he delivers line so he maximizes breath control
