That intro was siiiiiiiiiiiiiick, love the content, even though it was fast paced I learnt a lot - including to be thankful my starter motor isn't hidden into the centre of the earth lol.

Great episode Pooley! That starter positiin is the number 1 reason I wouldn't want to own one of those motors. Not enough patience for that. 😅 You clearly know what you're doing. 👍🏻

As an American and former Toyota tech it’s awesome to see Pooly work on his cruiser because it’s all just so different to what we got in the USA except I think Toyota only makes one power steering reservoir lol it’s fun to see all the differences but also the things that are the same

That's one good think that Bazz the 40 series had. If the starter motor failed you could simply put the crank handle in and crank it over. If you still have the original crank handle.
Great episode Pooly. More of these would be great. Either hadn't seen it, or hadn't noticed before, but does your tray have a fuel tank wrapped around the dual stacks? If so, that is sick! Love the dual stacks idea, but always figured a fuel tank there is a much better use of real estate. If you've done both you're a wizard 😂
Hey mate cheers! And its actually a water tank and ive got a little hose in my front under tray box 🚿 i thought about making it fuel but realistically it’s only the capacity of a jerry can which wont get me much further! 🤣 water does come in handy 👌

Also a good idea while you’ve got the motor half apart to remove all the foam they put in there as it just holds water and dirt ect and mice love it.

Best was for getting the injector washers out of the head is using a large screw with a taper that fits in the centre of the washer
Tapered easy outs also work great too get the washer out ! I find easier then a tap
