Trade is the process of bringing the products of farming to another Corner of the world. A farmer is a Person who can survive longer with out Money than a Trader with plenty of Money in the Banks. also, i appriciate you both.

Trade and agriculture are the two sides of a single coin.there isn't a single nation in this globe which created its economic strategy based on either trade or agriculture but both.even the countries with enormous economies like France USA and Russia they spend a huge amount of capital in enhancing their agricultural systems.however having agriculture only will not take the nation anywhere there should be a network of trade that connects the nation with the other parts of the world to strengthen its economy.

It's really impressive that they can speak fluent English in grade 10. I agree with the lady, agriculture is the most basic for development, and of course trade has a power to grow the economy up. I think agriculture on its own is the same as a car without engine. To sum up, agriculture and trade should be balanced. 😎 I'm proud of you guys!

It’s really a great debate for English speakers but not for us, not for Tigrignya speakers.
I pretty sure 90 per of Eritrean people doesn’t understand this debate.
But if these students were present this’ll debate by Tigrigna a most of Eritrean people would understand.
So you’ll know what we have to do.
We have to develop to learning Tigrinya language in Elementary schools and high schools 🏫 university/ colleges in all of cities Eritrean
Both of them are right but agriculture only is not enough to build up a country economy, the most important is trade, because agriculture is just for food but trade is everything if I am right.

I am not impressed cuz they spoke well English, what impressed me was how the girl broke it down and shows a wide knowledge in that particular topic. The guy wasn’t answering her questions probably , rather he was circling around to one answer. In this kind of debate I need to have a broad knowledge and have to prepare to different questions and been flexible. I also do believe every country in the planet including the USA 🇺🇸 had to start by farming to be where they are at the moment, bro do a bit of a dig in American history. Overall well done guys, the topic was debatable and the girl obviously wins on my opinion.

But the topic is about how can we improve our country so It does not matter how many people are traders if the country developed by the 20% traders.
