グリーンピース主催のイベント
nexteco100 が開催され、そのイベントで
Alexandre Dai Castaing氏の音楽と書のコラボレーションのパフォーマンスをさせていただきました。
今回のパフォーマンスでは、金文（篆書）で「保」の字を揮毫しました。
象形文字の「保」のかたちは、左の親が右の子を抱き抱えて、子を護っている姿を表しています。「保つ」や「保護」などに使 われる文字ですが、 親が新しい命を守り、生命が育まれるよ うに、生命、環境、自然、地球が様々な被害から守られ、次の世代へと繋いでいくように、という願いを込めています。
The event nexteco was hosted by Greenpeace and Image Mill on Tuesday, June 4, and was featured in an article in Vogue.
At the event, I had the opportunity to perform a collaboration of Alex's music and calligraphy, as we did in May.
In this performance, I wrote the character "保" in seal script (金文).
The hieroglyphic character "保" represents a parent on the left holding a child on the right and protecting the child.
I created this work with the hope that life, the environment, nature, and the earth will be protected from various damages and be passed on to the next generation.
