Thank you for this information. I’m putting together an elementary school raffle and new to the PTA. Our raffle tickets are $5/each.
The grand prize is $500 cash and 4 season passes to Disneyland. Each class created a silent auction basket, my daughter’s class did a coffee and chocolate lovers basket. To help motivate the kids to sell raffle tickets, I bought some Hawaiian themed bracelets. For every 5 tickets sold they get a bracelet and the student who sells the most tickets wins a Nintendo Switch.
This is small potatoes compared to what you do but the information still translates for the actual upcoming event.
Thank you!
I think that's a good idea! At my events, we tend to motivate *the buyers,* but at your event, motivating *the sellers* is the first step. To your point, it's a different event. When I was that age, I would have liked to have a bunch of colorful bracelets. After all, I think I was wearing safety pins with beads on my shoes so a bracelet would be a step up.
Neat idea, our committee needs all the help we can get. Al of our committee is comprised of undergraduate students hosting a silent auction with all proceeds benefitting high school organizations.
Thanks
This is just great content. Keep it up
Thanks, Bertty. It's an olllld video but the content still is relevant.
Best raffle place I know of is NITROUS MX AND CAR COMPETIONS.
24,010 Thank you!
only problem is most people dont want to buy a 100 dollar raffle ticket. even if all 500 people bought a raffle ticket that would make 50k. that would never happen. the car would cost at least 30k-40k. and when your chances are 1/500 nobody wants to buy one lol

If you think this video is about selling 100 dollar raffle tickets for a car, you might wanna rethink about what other things youve missed in life.
ughhh if ppl are already donating more than 100$ for various causes, then whats the difference.. they just get the opportunity to win a car is a bonus
donating should never be about the prize, ppl need to stop selling the prize and sell the cause.. the prize is the bonus
Sounds like you are around some broke folks.
Hello

What does that lapel pin say?
Judi, I forced myself to rewatch this video, which was one of the first three videos I ever shot. It's painful to watch these early videos, but I will resist deleting it, because the content is solid and still stands.
The pin I showed the camera had the name of the nonprofit on it. (Food and Friends). Nothing unique; just the name of the nonprofit.
