I legit found your videos while also in the transitioning phase and I'm even struggling with that because I really (but really) don't know how to manage my natural hair (i.e., braid outs/twist outs, maintaining a hair care routine, which products to use??, not knowing how to conrow). Seeing this honestly makes me excited to do my own big chop, so thank you so much for this💕 Also, we def need a video on your hair care routine, and if possible a "how to conrow for dummies" video cause the struggle is real 😫

Girl your hair is so full and luscious! When I transitioned I never big chopped and the ends ended up breaking my hair... because of that I'm basically on my natural journey part 2 and it's held me back several years! You did the right thing and your hair looks amazing. If my fro was that thick and juicy I would finally be able to say goodbye to the wig life 😖

But there were definitely some areas that I had to cut shorter, and I believe it's because they were breaking due to the relaxed ends!! The majority of my hair was fine but I definitely did notice some of this!! No worries girl your hair will get back there, just annoying you have to wait a little longer 😩it'll be worth the wait xxx

You got me really smiling throughout the whole video I'm glad that you are beginning to love your hair :) I just wish I could tell you how beautiful your hair is so you don't feel bad but feeling low or unsure about your hair is very common. You put 18 months of work to see these results and it was a commitment, but also an investment but don't feel guilty but just reflect on why you did it in the first place. Self-love isn't about always loving yourself or a particular part every single day or second, but it's mostly about self-acceptance and that even when you don't like it; at the end of the day, it belongs to you and on your body and that it exemplifies your true radiance and beauty that truly comes from within. One thing I did want to add was that at times you might compare your hair to other people. The uncertainty or negativity can come from within, but even when you stop that source it can also outpour from the people around you or what you are exposed to. Everyone's hair is unique to themselves and that's what makes it difficult at times, but still unique. I'm 1 year and 9 months post relaxer and I'm happy for you! I'll stop now lol
