Which was a godsend when you were doing a speech gig on a London radio station and didn't have to negotiate the brick wall of management A genuine, sincere, highly skilled musician, live performer, and telly chap. I mourn his passing, and there are few days when I don't have a quiet chuckle about one of his innocently delivered lines.;-)

In this day and age of huge prizes, its crazy to thing that back then £300 was a lot of money, but the truth was it was, that kind of money went a long way.
The weirdest place I have ever seen a dartboard was at Ryton FC in the stand and also when I was with my ex-fiancee me and her were in Sunderland and we saw one in a Taxi rank.
