There is a show on out tv with peppermint from us crystal from uk season 1 and Barbada. It's call call me mother and they legit judge and mentor. There is 2 seasons out. They actually cover lots of drag like queens and kings and whatnot

She's said all that stuff about the contract on the podcast last year, it's not new info. I think it was crappy of Joesph to press her about that song. What was the point of that when it's clear she was uncomfortable answering. Seems unnecessary. But you're right, there's no way wow will invite her back, especially after this interview, which is sad.
@@JB-yr4kv I feel like you could feel a shift w Alaska and what they said about WOW over the run if the pod. In the beginning Willam was very vocal and Alaska was being neutral. Somewhere along the way it shifted and you hear comments from Alaska now as well.

Both are really valid and important to discuss. I think she cares deeply, so why not speak up when you disagree. I think she's looking out for others.
Well tbf methinks at least a small part of it is coming from a place of selfishness too- I’m sure she’s wanting to book gigs w some of the new girls or even put out feels for a new podcast duo on MOM but I’d bet WOW is putting a stop to any/all of that with a quickness these days 😭

Alaska is my number one favorite drag queen... she was always *one* of my favorites but when I read her book, and got to know her a little better, I realized I related to her in a way I seldom relate to entertainers. So she became my top pick. I tend to prefer personality and creativity over choreography and aesthetic. Even though I ADORE Lasky's aesthetic, you can tell it's about the references and the art for her. I bought the ultimate VIP ticket during the Red for Filth tour, and since I was the only one that bought that particularly expensive ticket in Philly-- I got to spend more time before the show with her. Best day of my life. I mean that. Surrounded by queer people and the love in that building was something I rarely feel. I will always see Alaska Thunderfuck when she's in the Philly / NJ / Delaware area. Thanks for making my day better, you moguls, you. I am a huge MOM+ fan. Very That, Very Delta, Race Chaser, Hot Goss, Unplucked, Sloppy Seconds, Hi Jinkx!, and now this show! Keep it up y'all. And thanks to Alaska and Willam to as well as the crew behind the camera, again for making this South Jersey/Delaware queer a lil bit happier.
Wow is my absolute favorite song and video by Alaska. Even though it's not her typical music style, it's still SO genuine. I love all of her music, and she always looks amazing. There is something about that video, no drag, no sparkles, no nails. It makes me focus on the actual music more, and it's a great song.
