Great concert watched it live over the net .Still find it difficult to work out Saki leaving just when they start to hit it big. Still love the band and with Mayu now playing guitar things are rolling along nicely .

I recommend getting the Blu-Ray of this (5th Anniversary) concert. In addition to the Budokan concert, it comes with another disk of a show in a smaller venue that I think is actually better than the Budokan. The crowd in the smaller venue is more present and it adds to the show.
Its proven once again that these beautifully talented, fun loving smile machines has delighted the world in an unimaginable fashion!!! That is something only Nemophila can accomplish!!!!! ❤❤❤❤......❤

The Blu-ray of this concert is available again at the NEMOPHILA shop, having been sold out previously. Worth its weight in gold in my opinion. And now they've released the Blu-ray of their concert at Wild Side Tokyo back in May which, of course, doesn't have Saki in the band. In my opinion they are still FANTASTIC! A little different yes, but in a GOOD way and with Hara-chan having a more prominent presence. Of course we all love Saki but she's pursuing a different direction now and people need to understand that. Meanwhile NEMOPHILA are still gonna be the GREAT band that they are! 💪🤘❤
I'm saying that same thing because I am convinced that by going down to one guitar that they are losing popularity and I think it's such a shame. I love Saki but if she doesn't want to be in the band or the band doesn't want her I can live with that but she must be replaced I don't see why they couldn't get Lisa X or someone else already connected to one of the band members.
@stephenchigwidden7504 yup, and not just that, the issue is not just that they'll lose popularity, but it's a fact that there's some emptiness in their sound not only in live shows (where is more evident) but also in their new studio recordings, the guitars have no the same solidness they had before.
@rogerpelayo3946 yes all the songs were written for 2 guitarists and it doesn't sound the same. Enigma only has 46000 views and you can tell they are starting to go backwards just when they looked absolutely unstoppable. I hope it works out but I know that I tend to avoid their clips as a four piece and I'm probably not the only one.
Yup Ive been saying the same thing, there are huge differences without a second guitarist especially with their old stuffs, overlapping different riffs and solos, also delays. Lets be honest here Mayu is still only a beginner and now their twin solos are simple AF. Plus Mayus favourite band is Foo Fighter so at best she will be a pop rock guitarist.

It still doesn't make up for the loss of NEMOPHILA and there are still many people just discovering them now. What a waste.
To all hoping that Saki comes back to Nemo: It's not going to happen. I understand the feeling, in fact I share it, but Saki not only left the band but their management company, in Japan that makes any reunion impossible. In fact she was a staple of Naon no Yaon for many years but was absent in the last. Why? Because it's organized by the same management she left.
Not impossible, but most unlikely. Pat Smear left the Foo Fighters and 8 years later rejoined. Is it likely she will rejoin them in the next year? No. But in 10 years if both are still performing? It's possible. My understanding is Saki left because the stuff she wanted to do kept being put on the back burner. And she must have felt like time was running out for those projects. Once she has done the things she needs to do she may feel like rejoining. And hopefully if she does everyone is open to that.
From a certain age, girls also have to think about themselves. Saki is a drawcard/audience magnet. I think she will earn more with her solo performances this year than in previous years when she was in bands. When you're already famous, a solo career means less stress, more free time and more money. The problem is that without bands, none of today's soloists would have become so famous in the first place, let alone outside Japan. Have you ever watched the band Hanabie? Their management has been ruthlessly chasing them around the world for 2 years. It's only a matter of time before one of the girls collapses ... Constantly without friends, family without a love in life ... Basically, the music business is a tough business, whether you're a band or a solo artist.
@@gitterich Speculating and guessing doesnt make you an expert or even right. Touring is how bands get big especially for bands from non traditionally markets. The idea Saki was being held down by being in Nemophila is laughable as well.

I can agree. I miss the dueling guitars. Felt like their signature. Hazuki playing so perfectly by the book and Saki just wailing on that guitar. You could tell by the way they played who is playing with solo. I still love the band, but 2 guitars was such a good sound.
