Don't worry lindsay, boruto and himawari really aren't clones of their parents, and you'll see as u go along. Himawari is nothing like hinata personality wise and honestly same for boruto with naruto ( for the most part ). Also u will def see how there r thing's that differentiate boruto from naruto move-set wise.

I actually like the Dub but that’s just my preference. You will see some of the old characters, great new characters and awesome fight scenes! I look forward to watching your reactions.
I think it even improves on some parts of the original naruto. It's far more consistent, and the anime canon is far easier to watch than the downright filler of the og naruto.

Boruto (Bolt) actually has Hinata's face and Himawari (Sunflower) has Naruto's face. Is just that their hairs make them look like thier just clones. Kishimoto actually wrote down when designing Boruto that Boruto has a softer face than Naruto.
Odd, I haven't personally seen any notable differences in the dub of Boruto compared to Naruto. There are a few notable translation mistakes (for instance stating its been 10 years since the war when a proper translation would be "over 10 years"), but that applies to the official sub as well.
@@patricktorres1292 ya forreal, the main differences is I (and most fans) think that both Boruto himself and the villains hugely are so much better sub, i mean no spoilers but i can't even imagine an english voice doing a better job for the last cannon arc's (eps like 217 & 218) "big bad", his VA just killed it.
Boruto is unfortunately *a lot* like Naruto but Himawari does have her own personality quirks that make her similar but overall different from her parents. For example the anger she first portrays here doesn't come from either Naruto or Hinata but rather from her grandmother Kushina and even then she adds a yandere-like spin to it: a quiet cold fury instead of a loud explosive one you get from most other female characters in this series (Hinata being a rare exception though she gets passive aggressive when mad). This is likely why Himawari's the more well-liked of the two Uzumaki kids in the general community. As for whether or not you should watch episode 18 of Boruto, I still think you should because the Boruto anime's adaptation of this only lasts about 8 minutes of that episode and does have some differences.
Boruto is nothing like Naruto. He has some qualities sure but he's way more like sasuke, especially in Timeskip where he is exactly like a teenage Sasuke but good rather than evil.
Good luck with Boruto. U guys seem really chill about the goofier elements so I’m sure u can just ignore everyone that has big issues with is and make up ur own minds. I never got into it too much personally but it is fun to pop in from time to time and have a bit of a nostalgia trip. Have fun.
Also one little thing about sub is I’ve always just enjoyed Naruto’s voice (he talk like 500% more than any other character) much more in sub so I never really messed with dub much here but I did see some in Boruto during the arcs that are pretty recent so it does improve if it ends up bothering u. But I’m sure people won’t mind either way since u too are so delightful.
I totally agree with Lindsey on Boruto's character design. Don't worry though, as for his fighting style, Boruto is a breath of fresh air. So at least you've got that to look forward to

I gotta agree - I really liked Shippuden dubbed, they really hit the nail on the head, but Boruto sub sounds.. kinda weird, to be honest. Most character's japanese voice just kinda fits better, and especially Sarada and Boruto sound way less annoying than in english
My only problem with this ova is the main plot itself... Why couldn't Naruto just become Hokage, why did it have to have a twist on it... Like seeing him go through all of Naruto then all of Shippuden and not seeing him at his hokage inauguration was just kind of a big let down
Meh, i didn't have any problems with it, thought it was funny 🤷. It's just a ceremony, and i don't think naruto was too distraught about it. His dream was to become hokage, and that's exactly what he got.

It was all just fan service. Good that the series had some of the designs updated, afterwards.
