The idea that Vassell becomes expendable if castle shows promise is insane. You can’t win championships with two good guys.. then to ship off our draft capital and Vassell ??? The spurs would never consider adding lauri to Wemby and Castle a contender in any universe.

Jazz fan here. I don't know how this trade gets done. I totally understand Spurs not wanting to give up that many assets on a trade that doesn't make you a title contender. GS is a different case. They are basically obligated to Curry to try to compete by all means while he's still around. It's still a steep price but for remember the Jazz don't want or need to trade him.
When Donovan wanted to leave we still got Lauri Sexton and 4 picks and pick swaps. IMO we don't let him leave without Kuminga or Podz, Moody and 3+picks.
For the Spurs it would take Vassel, Sochan, the MORE valuable of your 25 pick and 2 future 1sts. Again, I get you guys not wanting to do it but just trying to give you guys some insight on what the general consensus is in Jazzland. I hope he doesn't get traded at all
the jazz can ask anything but spurs dont have to give, unless jazz want to keep laurijazz would not get that much from spurs, because, lauri is not the only all star in the market, spurs could target ingram, garland, tre young, but except for the jazz, the spurs has the best draft pickassets in nba, even better than okc. if jazz want draft assets, spurs is the team, not the warriors, noyt the king. so if spurs take their business elsewhere, jazz just cant good return with other team.

Spurs shouldn’t give away any draft picks for Lauri since he will be a free agent next year. He is also vastly overrated and is injury prone. Pass
