Hi! You don’t have to pay extra for the lofting kit, you do have to put in a request on roorez (in residential life forms) if you are moving into Oak Street. Those will become available later in the summer and it’s first come first serve. If you are moving to Johnson Hall, your bed automatically has the lofting part. And I don’t think there’s a limit to plants, so you should be fine lol🌿
To be honest, I’m not sure what prices to compare them to so I’m not sure what is considered expensive. If you look on the umkc website under the housing section it should tell you the cost of the different dorms! I believe it comes to around 11k a year including a meal plan but I would refer to the website for more accurate data.
Hi! To be honest I don’t know much about the engineering dept. They just added a new building, so I assume the program is growing. I’m not the best person to ask that question but I know the Science and Engineering dept just joined and there’s gonna be new programs available so I would say that’s a good indication.
