@@DIY_art_and_craft_creativity don’t bother about maqamat. It’s deeply rooted in musical notes. Better just learn the rules of tajweed and beautify your voice with that. Once you learn maqamat, it takes you away from the real purpose of listening or reciting the Quran which is to understand and ponder upon its meaning. Whereas once you learn maqamat you’ll mostly just focus on the vocal notes.

The thing about Maqams is that I know how to recite in some Maqams like Saba,jam,kurd but some I don't know I can't figure it out when someone's reciting that's the thing with me

This Fajr reminded me of Sheikh’s first ever Fajr in Masjid Al Haram, Sunday 27th October 2019. He recited the same Surah (Surah Insan Ayahs 1-31) and even the Mataf looked the same, with people wearing normal clothes on that day and also this day. ♥️
Only difference is, back then he used to use Ajam way more, now he doesn’t. That recitation was in Ajam
