It's an abyss with no bottom, smooth walls with no way to climb out, and darker than the darkest night. No stars, no moon, no lights, just perpetual darkness. Sometimes medication helps, sometimes it doesn't. Hell on earth!

I remember when Robin died. I was in college studying abroad in Tokyo on the subway with our group. His picture flashed across the screens in the subway car. I remember pausing and just being in shock. However, it was amazing that it made its way to Japan.
Robin Williams was a pleasant person. You could not tell that he was depressed. I know about DEPRESSION. He had to be strong to not allow it to destroy him earlier.

Please don’t act on those thoughts. Whether you realize it or not, you’re presence makes a difference in peoples lives. You might not even realize how much you’ve touched the lives of people you’ve interacted with but it’s true. Your life might not have one clear-cut, specific “purpose” right now but giving up takes the possibility of every finding happiness or passion away completely. Make little goals or distractions to keep you going for now. Try new things and get out and explore when you can.
