Islam Makachev Will Make EASY WORK of Dustin Poirier! UFC 302 Main + Co-main Event Breakdown

UFC 302 Makachev vs Poirier takes place this Saturday, and in this video I break down the main and co-main events.
I see Islam Makachev taking down Dustin Poirier early on and latching up a submission quickly. Unfortunately for Dustin it seems his chances of holding undisputed gold are close to zero. I think Makachev is too technical to be caught by Poirier, and he's too smart to stand and bang. The moment Poirier loads up on something big, I see Islam dipping in for a fast takedown. From there, I see him latching up a head and arm choke fast, like he did against Oliveira.
For the co-main event, I don't think Paulo Costa has the gas tank to go five rounds, nor does he have the power to end the fight early. I think Sean Strickland will keep the pressure going on Costa and eventually break him in the fifth round. Costa might have some moments early on, but as the fight progresses it will slowly become a one-sided beatdown by Strickland.
