White Sox are a clown show. Let's wait until Robert's value is at its absolute lowest to trade him lol. He should've been traded 2 years ago, early 2024 at the latest.
2 years ago they were picked by people to make the playoffs and world series so why would you trade him then. The problem is it fell off a cliff and there wasn't time to make a move.
I agree. That makes a lot of sense for the Mets as a plan B. I also think it would make a lot of sense for the Dodgers who have potential openings in all three outfield poaitions given Mookey's return to the infield next year. But Robert without Crochet isn't terribly appealing. The Dodgers have the players and the prospects to make a trade for both pieces.
The Red Sox trade sounds the most real world out of all of them. The Mets might consider your trade even if we land Soto. You’re basically making Robert free for us.
I love your content Jim! I'd like to see a series of videos where you play GM for each team and go through the offseason for what YOU would do. And for example if Soto signs with the Yankees then he can't also be part of your plan for the Red Sox. I'd very interested to watch a 5-10 minute video for each team. Keep up the great work Jim!!
The fact that the year is almost over and I still have unmet investment goals is unbelievable. The financial market is reportedly experiencing a bull run, and I recently sold a house. Do you advise me to buy stocks through a financial advisor, or am I able to do it myself ??
It's similar to asking whether you should self-medicate, of course seeing a doctor is always preferable, so yes if you feel that you need direction, it's a good idea to get financial advice.
Utilising an advisor did the trick for me in barely 5 years. I worked hard every day as a doctor for 32 years, and my salary was over $250k per year, enough to get me fully invested. I'm retired today and just about 10% shy of $2m after hundreds of thousands invested.
i'm blown away! mind sharing basic info please? i am a young adult living in Miami where i've encountered several millionaires, and my goal is to become one as well
I’m cautious about giving specific recommendations as everyone's situation varies. You may consider independent financial advisors like Elizabeth Louise Greak. I've worked with her for barely 5 years now and I'd gladly commend her exemplary service on a public post. You can search her name online to book an appointment
Chicago could have gotten multiple top 100 prospects for Robert last year. It's sad to see guys like Nacho Alvarez and Bryan Rincon as the "headliners" when they would have likely been the third or even fourth piece to a trade last year
Jim WHEN IS THE TRADE MARKET GOING TO HEAT UP? Maybe from Sunday when meetings start? Hopefully we can see lot of trades. I thought that this offseason was the indicate to see some trade activity
You could have those 3 guys with the Mets and add 2 top prospects, Marte with cash and you might be able to get Robert and Crochet. I like Robert in CF with Siri and Taylor on the bench.
I still think Seattle should take a chance on him if his value is going to be down. However, he seems to be the type of player that will quit on the team if he/they aren't doing well. That's a big red flag for a team that can't afford to swing and miss on trades.
As a Mets fan, I have no problem seeing the Phillies go backwards :) But speaking impartially, I think swapping out Castellanos for Robert would be a mistake. As much potential as Robert has, you know what you have in Castellanos - he's a big bat - who's dependable in the clutch - and fits well in their clubhouse. What if you move him out and you get the version of Robert we saw in 2024?
As a Mets fan I'd give up those players twice 😂even if we DID get Juan Soto. I feel like Luis Robert would start to play more serious on a winning team, especially with a guy like Lindor as his captain.
Robert had given up on the Sox organization. Sure hes been hurt but even when he plays he looks uninterested. Ill take anyone of theae deals even though the sox will get ripped off. Id trade Robert just to get off benitendi's contract
I know one team he's not going to, Atlanta as AA is the cheapest and worst gm in baseball. He's all talk the past two off seasons, how his team was going to be heavily active. All he does is sign players for one year or trades to bring back his former superstars. I know Dombrowski and Andy Mc Phail, and these guys know how to do things right. Robert could end up a mid season trading deadline deal if he gets traded now and it still won't be Atlanta.
As a Phillies fan, i would hope they would trade for Robert n Crochet. Soto won't sign here unless they do 4 yrs $280 mil. That way Soto can still get that max contract at 30yrs old. ( i'm daydreaming)
M's, Phillies and Sox trade, Bohm to M's, Crochet and Robert to Phils and Sox get a large prospect haul. Hopefully M's can shed Haniger and Phils might need to shed some money too with Castellanos, perhaps.
Even when Robert is on, he’s strikes out a lot. That’s the opposite of what Phillies need. But hey, I don’t value Rincon that highly so I guess I would do it. Heredia is underrated. Sox won’t trade him that low even if that’s what he’s worth.
i dont get how soto plays any part in this tbh. if we get him he plays RF and u try n make a massive trade for robert and crochet. and if we miss out same thing. the 2 arent mutually exclusive. we can get soto AND make a blockbuster trade for robert and crochet. and have a nimmo robert soto outfield cuz i never saw siri as a starter unless hes there to make up the space cuz of sotos below avg defense. and even then siri can just be a late inn def replacement.
So no one thinks the Orioles who have a need for a RF and have the capital to trade for both Crochet/Roberts wouldn’t make that move? When they have a clear need for both a SP and RF? Smh I can see when they sucked you discounting them but they have a new owner who says he will spend money and a GM who has been agggressive the last two years.
None of the trades. Wait until the trade deadline and if he improves then he will be worth so much more. Otherwise they will get about the same pieces.
@@djl9919 Jake Burger looks like a solid 250 hitter with power , used primarily as a DH but also some 1st base. The Jays already have some one like that in Spencer Horwitz. Jake has a lot more plate appearances and a lot more HR's . But dollar for dollar they are pretty equal. Why the question ?

You mean last year
Let’s be honest. If the Mets miss on Soto, the package they offer will be for both Robert and Crochet.

As a Braves fan, I would do that trade but I'm not sure the White Sox do
Would love to see us get Kwan from Cleveland.

Package deal with Crotchet.

Maybe huge Blockbuster with Mets along with Garrett Crochet.
Definitely a worthwhile trade for the Red Sox. Could they go for crochet at the same time?
Jin Riley has twice the imagination of the majority of G.M’s. The man can build a trade.

Thanks you for this, after reviewing her credentials, I'm so impressed
Red Sox is my favorite one
Philly all day
White Sox fan. I agree, take the Red Sox deal here.
Chicago could have gotten multiple top 100 prospects for Robert last year. It's sad to see guys like Nacho Alvarez and Bryan Rincon as the "headliners" when they would have likely been the third or even fourth piece to a trade last year
Once again, as a Mets fan - LOL - I don't think the Sox make the Mets trade without one of the Mets' big prospects. I like the trade!!
Mets have Siri Robert’s is damaged goods
Tip of the cap for the SHURE mic upgrade. 👌
Mets should make a move for Roberts even if they get Soto. Desperately in need of a CF yo begin with
Should have added a player to be named later depending on how he plays. That would intrigue the White Sox to actually make the trade.
Jim WHEN IS THE TRADE MARKET GOING TO HEAT UP? Maybe from Sunday when meetings start? Hopefully we can see lot of trades. I thought that this offseason was the indicate to see some trade activity
White Sox fan here. Let Getz cook. Louis Robert to NY for Spencer Jones and some fillers. Soto replacement
They need hitters but I disagree on Jones
@ I’ll take a fly on Jones. Maybe change of scenery will help them both
You could have those 3 guys with the Mets and add 2 top prospects, Marte with cash and you might be able to get Robert and Crochet. I like Robert in CF with Siri and Taylor on the bench.
I could only dream that was the Braves offer and Getz took it. That would be better than the Sale trade and that one is hard to beat for anyone
Robert, Harris and Acuña is insane
Sure trade Robert and Crochet, then close the stadium.
the price for Roberts will delay this deal imo. Roberts has the potential to be a minor superstar if he can stay healthy.
What is a "minor" superstar? Sounds like an oxymoron.

Why can't Rojas be part of the Phillies deal?
Yankees ought to re-focus, Roberts. They have the chips and it’ll save them MILLIONS.

i’ll put my first born on the fact that getz is asking more than 13.4 in value
Hello Riley
It’s funny his named changed from roberts to Robert jr
So what I am hearing is the angels got a chance ?
I did hear something about Soto and Angels
Angels weak team
You obviously have no clue. WS won't trade Roberts unless they receive a MLB starting position player in the return
I think Luis Robert Jr will be a Blue Jays if they don’t get Soto
The Jays are not getting Soto. They won't even pay Vlad Jr. Why would Soto see that as any sort of destination?
Get him for the Yankees and move Judge to first base right now. Or Soto on first. He can't play outfield very well.
Another knuckle head under the belief 1st base is an easy learning curve, it’s NOT. Judge happens to be a gifted RF’er, where he belongs.
The Sox aren't getting the offers they want. They may have to bite the bulllet on this one just to move him.
What up Riley
Cardinals will take Robert for Arenado!
The dodgers are very close to signing teoscar hernadez..so the dodgers are out of getting juan soto..
Seeing them spend,, not necessarily. They may buy both.
@livinb450 they might get both..
Phillies will get him
Dodgers can offer Lux + prospects but must keep Rushing
Lux doesn’t fit the timeline. They can flip him for prospects tho. Rushing won’t be necessary
Stupid trade for the Red Sox. We don’t need more outfielders
As a Braves fan, I would definitely make that trade.
Buster is a joke IMO. He rarely gets any supposed trades coming right.
These trade are terrible. Jim is prospect hugging. White Sox want make these trades
All these trades are garbage for Luis. Bad content
The braves move Alvarez if we get adames
Jays need another outfielder and have some pieces they could trade.
Hello Gerald, please give me your opinion of Jaake Burger and I think the Blue Jays has a fit with 1st & DH
