  • Shannon Sharpe and Deion Sanders talk Travis Hunter. Deion Sanders reveals Travis is a two-way player playing both WR/CB. When asked about what makes Travis special, Deion said: “Travis has a want inside of him that’s insatiable and he’s electric with that ball in his hands.” Shannon then goes to ask Deion if he would’ve made the Hall of Fame as a WR and Prime answers with an emphatic “YES!”

    If Deion Sanders played WR where would he rank amongst the best WRs of all-time?

    • @urganp2798
      @urganp2798 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Its hard to say mainly due to the nature of the NFL during his playing time. I believe he could have been great but playing WR in that time was different then it is now. There is also a very good chance he could have been injured early on all it would have taken was one big shot across the middle. But he did have the skill set to have potential reached the hof.

      Top 5-10 all-time assuming he went without major injury. The Falcons didn't have a QB when Deion was drafted, so his stats would have suffered during his first 4 years in the league.

      @@chadnolan404 I think it's everything mixed together in one. Talent, rings, production & level of opposition all put together. Patrick Mahomes & Dan Marino are the most talented/gifted, Tom Brady is #1 in longevity, Peyton Manning is arguably the most productive. But the thing that always separated Montana from everyone else is the fact he was consistently great no matter the level of opposition. Most HOF QBs dominate the regular season but their level of play drops dramatically against elite defenses. It drops again even more in the playoffs & their level of play in the Super Bowl just completely falls off when compared to their regular season performances. Montana is literally the exact opposite, every time the level of opposition got better MONTANA GOT BETTER TOO. Montana played even better against elite defenses. In the playoffs Montana was better than in the regular season & in the Super Bowl he was even better than he was the rest of the playoffs & regular season. Montana consistently raised his level of play while all other great QBs always play worse in those exact same scenarios. The fact Montana is the only player who has 0 turnovers in Super Bowl history with multiple appearances is still unbelievable. He was literally perfect in the Super Bowl. Everybody makes at least 1 mistake. Except for Joe Cool 😎, he was FLAWLESS
