    The cost of the electricity running the LW transmitter at Beidweiler was the reason for it's closure.

    I don't have a LW radio any more, only MW in the car. has the Allouis transmitter (164kHz I think, France Inter) gone now? Not progress at all, if vinyl records can make a comeback, so can analog radio

    Nothing on Log Wave here except some airport beacons in North America.

    Understand with www the analog technology goes down. Although when digital technology goes down we're going back to analog. BBC and VOA are back on the short wave bands.
