Polytunnel Update - My Soil, Watering and Sowing Seeds

Spring is Here! Let's Get Planting!
It's time to start planting in your polytunnel. I am starting with First Early (Swift Potatoes), some Tomatoes, Cucumber, Peppers and Squash.
Growing in A poly tunnel is rewarding but can be tricky. You need to ensure that your soil is good, well maintained and watered. You also need to protect your seedlings and plants from the risk of frost!
Let me show you how I added a watering system to minimise the risk of blight and to ensure that plants can stay hydrated for long. I'll also sure some tips on how to protect your plants from the cold.
In the next few weeks I will be expanding the raised beds within our First Tunnels Polytunnel so that I can plant many more goodies.
My polytunnel is located in a Hardiness zone 9Bon the South East Edge of #dartmoor

I’ll always do Picasso main crop as they have great flavour, they grow large for good jackets and decent chips, they don’t go mushy when boiled and roast beautifully! Less peeling too

I do use my polytunnel as a windbreak for my bees!
