    Thank you! I had the same question as the post. I had it set as you said but was not sure since i have always been told to connect to the sub first. Well maybe if bt was available to the sub 🤔🤔 I could do the traditional. Thanks again

    Such a simple concept but a very genuine question I had with these units. Thank you for this high quality tutorial, Robin.

    I question.... So you can not have a pair of ZLX-12-BT:s where one 12-BT play only left channel and one 12-BT playing only the right channel when the speakers are connected to a subwoofer and streaming music from bluetooth to the speakers?? Huge misstake if that is true...

    Question! I have the same speakers and want to connect them to my JBL IRX sub using an external Mackie mixer. How would I set it up? Appreciate this channel and all of your content.

    Thank you for video. Did you mention what setting to use on sub? Also, with Bluetooth the channels don’t control the volume the master does. Is this correct

    I enjoy your videos! Good contenta nd clear explanation. I have a question on the setup you just showed here, does this mean that both speakers are outputting left and right signals? And you get both channles on the sub. Now if you were to set 1 speaker mix out to R with the current connection, that would output a proper stereo on both speakers (1 channel each) BUT would only have 1 signal going to the sub (R). Which one is a better sounding setting here? I am not sure how different the signals are between L and R in terms of lower frequency (for the sub). I am pretty sure clarity / separation will be an issue if you output L + R on both speakers. I maybe wrong so would love to get your opinion on this. My second question would be if I will use my mixer's bluetooth and connect my mixer's xlr connections to the left and right speakers this would mean i will have a clean separation of signals. Now I would have 2 mix out output available for me to use to go to the sub, this would work on the alto here in your video but i have a sub that only has 1 input. If I were to use a Y splitter to join the 2 xlrs from the mix out of both speakers and connect it to my sub , would that work? Or is it better off to take the low frequency signal from 1 channel instead? Thank you and hope to get some idea on these scenarios. Cheers

    When I setup the zlx’s in stereo, my single sub only plays out of one channel. Is there a way to get the sub to play for both channels?

    How will it work if I want to add an existing pair of M-Audio BX8a speakers to each ZLT speaker? Do I need to adjust or set anything on the ZLX speakers as they will be the main speakers? Thank you!

      @expertisland  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      not sure what the plan is but if you have a mixer I would setup the M-Audio BX8a there. if no mixer you can plug the M-Audio BX8a to the XLR output of each speaker. Note the M-Audio BX8a is a monitor speaker and the ZLX is a PA speaker so be careful with the volume.

      So I should use the ZLX as the monitors when using my mixer and ditch the M-Audio monitors. That was the original plan as I’m not a big fan of M-Audio monitors.

    First, thank you for your descriptive videos! My question is fairly simple. I have my zlx15bt pair connected via bluetooth and am not running a sub. What I have noticed is that when set to stereo mode the right speaker (getting signal from xlr) is noticeably quieter. I then need to up the DB by about 5 on the pre-amp to bring the two speakers into a cohesive stereo pairing. I am very green to gain structures and want to keep the right speaker at "unity". Would raising the gain past unity be better, or is upping the pre-amp better for maintaining a healthy gain structure? Thanks!

    Could you take a look at the Vari V4115? The frequency response of 35Hz-22kHz sounds too good to be true, but my V2215 that I got for a too good to pass up deal has impressed me in every way. I use my speaker mostly for parties and I’ve been looking at cheaper subwoofers because I want more bass and cranking the lows on the v2215 causes too much distortion, but there just doesn’t seem to be a good option for good low frequency reproduction at a low cost. If the v4115 can actually output down to 35Hz at a reasonable volume it’d be exactly what I’m looking for. I don’t really need much louder than the v2215 (under 120db peak), just more bass and less distortion
