A beautifully crafted Handpan. That deep bass from the Ding, rich harmonics and sustained tones overlapping eachother WOW!! That gorgeous composition is floating out in the universe. Brilliant scale and breathtaking skills. 🙏

Jacob you got me flying like no others for the whole piece…and now that it’s finished I’m in some other fascinating worlds.
I only wish people could stop and listen to artists more often…we would live in a much different planet I’m sure…
Thanks so much Mark! Thanks for taking the 36 min journey with me! : )
Amazing.
That was pure bliss, thank you for sharing your amazing skills Jacob! Really beautiful, also how much feeling you put into it. Keep ‘em coming!!

Thanks so much Tarek!
Jacob you made my day. I´m recovering from Covid and listening to your impro supported me to feel so calm, loved, in harmony with everything. Can´t find words to describe the resonance fully. P.S. Would love to see the bottom of the pan (are there outies or normal notes?).
35 minutes of deep meditation. Wonderful Jacob, I danced and sang and was absorbed in the change of time. This piece corresponds so much to the energetic situation on earth for me. Thank you so much for sharing.
So happy to hear Lux!

@@JacobColePercussion …. Ok then! It’s a plan!! 🥰🛸🎶🦋
This jam is a world wonder Jacob!!
I listen to this often and try to figure out why you sold it, if this is already amazing what could have come from the Synergy between you❤️🙏
I've been asking myself the same for a while now. 🙄😃 Coming back to this at least 1-2 times a week. Perfect for work. 🙌🏻
Oh! He needs to reunite with this Handpan & scale. They make magic happen!
Awesome sound quality man!
Thanks Alexis! Pan is an Ayasa ember steel & it was recorded on my zoomQ8 + rode nt5s! : )
Thanks for telling me which microphone you have! I have been hesitant to buy one because I didn’t know how to shop for them.. looks like those are affordable! and I went to the Ayasa website the other day and it said they were like sold out of handpan 😂 so I got one from Asteman still waiting for it in the mail so excited 😆
Jacob, this is beautiful 🙏
I am hoping you can share with us the reason this particular handpan sounds so unique?
I have listened to 100s of recordings of handpans, and this one stands out.
I especially love the resonate low tone of the ding. The combined quality of that tone, with its unique “thumpiness” and resonance is really beautiful.
Is that a quality of the key, or the craftsmanship, or what?
I know that Ayasha are top quality handpan makers, but I have heard other of their recordings, and this one stands out.
As you are a connoisseur of handpans, it would be valuable to share with us your thoughts, opinion, and knowledge, in addressing this question of the particular sound of this handpan.
Thank you in advance 🤗🙏
Thanks so much Marty! Ralf makes top notch pans! This is his new ember steel material. I really am digging the sustain and warm quality of this handpan! The scale is also something very different! It has a great range from A2 to C5!
Please may I ask...I have a D Celtic hand pan which I have learnt loads on, mainly down to your tuition Jacob... I love the sound of this A2 Dorian and are very tempted to purchase one in time but is there any other scale which gives such a deep sounding resonance as this??? Apologies for the wordy question but I'd really appreciate your opinion...
BTW ...love your Rav Moon videos you've put up.
Many, many thanks.
Thank you! I think it is just the magic of Ayasa + ember steel tbh. I’m sad I sold this pan 😢
Hi, ❤️ from India 🙏🏼
I am a beginner with this amazing instrument. Is a D Hijaz major scale instrument suitable to start practicing.?!! I was told that "choosing the scale of the Handpan is very much a personal choice...... still".
Hello! D Hijaz is very nice and spicy! If you like it hot then go for it! Go with what scale that moves your soul! But typically people seem to go with the Celtic or minor scales to start. It is for sure a very personal choice. Listen to as many different handpan scales as the maker can create and go with what you love! : )
@@JacobColePercussion Thank you so much for taking time to reply. I have decided to go for "G Melog Selisir" crafted by MANTRA Handpans 😊 waiting to reach me by the first week of next month.
Great playing!! Still available??
Thank you! No unfortunately it sold months back.
What are the notes? Thank you
