Good video you covered alot ground, although their color options leave something to be desired compared to alot of other brands. But by keeping their options limited they can maintain quality and stock levels more efficiently. I just hope one day they do offer more colors to spice things up. I really want a daily thick, cozy, heavyweight hoodie in brown for this season. I have been thinking MADE's Recess hoodie in white and then dying it a nice dark brown, or LA Apparels 14oz heavyweight hoodie, or Rue Porter's ultra heavyweight hoodie. Which one do you think I should get as a daily wearer? Thickness isn't the most important to me but the weight, I love the feeling of having an extremely heavy hoodie over you, like a blanket.
Made’s recess is the thickest and warmest. I’d recommend sizing up then if you want the blanket look (;
Used these for my Skeleton Rhinestone drop, and they were incredible and all of my supporters to this day say that was the best quality drop yet. Only downside, is even after ordering 300+ Hoodies, I still had to pay a massive shipping fee despite the giant bulk I had bought. Overall, not huge of an issue, if you are thinking about using these for your brand, send it, they're incredible
Shipping discounts only go so far, because you’re paying the shipping rate, which changes every day, based on the weight and dimensions of the package. You don’t really get huge bulk discounts for ordering a lot because you still have to pay for that huge weight of the bulk order. That’s what you get for buying heavy ass blanks (;

Still wonder where brands get the cropped cut off hoodies, similar to vlone? BarriersNY uses them as well.
Any customization of the pattern is usually custom-made, most vendors just have true to size fitting or sometimes boxy fit, everything else is cut n sewn by a manufacturer

Even if you get accepted you’ll discover that their shipping is more than their products. For 2 shirts it’s $50 in the US.
I've ordered MADE twice... And I think this will be the last time. I've had an wholesale account with them from the beginning as I'm always looking for new wholesalers. My problem with them is there items seem to fit small, I'm not sure if anyone else feels this way. Both times I have ordered I ordered a 2XL but it fits like a L. Anyone else feel this way?

Most gildans, champion, alstyle etc, very cheap pieces
From hoodie perspective the best Gildan has to offer in terms of quality is Gildan Premium Cotton 92500 hoodie and The Gildan Hammer HF500 hoodie, granted they don't have the best color option compared to the G18500 but their made of much better material.
Made blanks is great expect not that many colorways which sucks.

French Terry is usually not as affordable as Fleece, all French Terry blacks are going to be about $30+. Rue porter and velour garments are good

How do you get the wholesale account from them? Do I need a business license? Is that different from a seller's permit? I am also in CA. Any help would be appreciated I love all your vids they help so much with my new start up brand!
Get sellers permit from cdtfa.ca.gov. That’s your license. Then apply for wholesale to any vendor with that. That allows you to resale retail goods. A business license just allows you to do any kind of business legally

Do you know any good freight spreading companies to get things from LA to New Zealand? Made blanks Tells me they won’t ship to New Zealand but they can work with freight forwarders to get it done…
Hmm, i’ve never heard that term before. Maybe you can email them and ask them to explain it further? Maybe you can ask if they have any other international customers or people in New Zealand that have purchased from them and how they were able to do it? You’d think they would be partnered with DHL or FedEx to do international shipments. But that’s a topic I don’t really know much about, you would get the most information directly from them

is there any updates with apparelwin the manufacturer? ive been looking up reviews for them and everyone seems to say to not trust them, how was you experience?
My experience has been great, never really had any problems with them. Also important to think about how people enjoy writing bad reviews rather than good reviews, for the people who have good experiences rarely share them because they don’t have a need to. The best way to actually see is to invest the money and try getting a sample or two from them and seeing what your personal experience is like

you need a resell permit, so you effectively need a brand to get that permit
I applied for a wholesale account from them weeks now and I still haven’t gotten a reply. Their customer service is terrible
If they haven’t gotten back to you, then keep sending them emails, be persistent and annoying. You could also check your spam folder. If a company, in any regard, doesn’t get back to you, just annoy them every couple of days

Keep emailing them and be persistent, I haven’t heard any notice of them not accepting any more people, so keep trying

King sleeve shirts did drop with them it was super recent, and yes they are tear-away labels

Rue is higher quality French Terry and the fit is more “streetwear-y”
made is more affordable and high quality fleece

It’ll be there, either you can remove it, or manufacturer can remove it if you tell them to (if you ship blanks to them)

Usually 7-10 days or so, but it also depends on workload and seasons. During holiday seasons it’s much longer because there’s so much demand

@@johncarraher3602 I touched on how to get a sellers permit at the end of the wholesale account video, but you are right I should make a separate video just dedicated to that. You can’t get a permit just for one vendor. It’s a permit that you generally have that you can use for any vendor

No, license allows you to do business legally. EIN is your sales permit federal tax id number which allows you to resale goods

After the first submission, if they don’t get back to you, then keep emailing them, see if they have a phone number too, they may have a follow up email that asks for a wholesale license but I honestly do not remember if they do or don’t
