I was doing a little Bible lesson and had TH-cam on in the background because earlier I saw that Grabby was back, I always look for him. what you said at the end of the video made me laugh through my tears for two reasons 1. I asked my son who raises snakes what it felt like when he got bit by one once, he shrugged and said 'mostly betrayal' (no animals were harmed except some feelings is what I think you said there at the end) and 2. You love 'Grabby' as much as you love all the others, maybe something grips him with fear, maybe a human hurt him before, and maybe he is just a parent to some of your little buddies and so he is always on alert mode... but you never cast him out, you never keep food from him, and you love him every time he shows up. What a blessing you are, sir. What a kind man and human in a cold harsh world. I really enjoy spending time with your channel and your 4 legged friends. Look how many people love you- just you being you. I am praying for all of you Jim. What a wonderful thing that 2020 gave me in the midst of so much being taken. xo

James that's sooo nice how you put the water out for them! They REALLY like it, obviously. It's adorable how they ate over it. I guess they cleaned some of their food. I have a horse who we put water in his feed after I noticed he dipped it in the water bucket constantly. That made it easier on us, not having to constantly clean out his water bucket!
At least Grabby's not fussy. A finger is as good as a hot dog.😂 I love the way you keep them all in order. They listen, but they are not frightened of you. Shows what a kind spirit you have. They know. ❤
It’s nice to see Grabby again. All I have to say is Jim I just adore you. I wish I could do what you are do with all your coon babies. I live in the country in Wisconsin and had a family of a momma and 4 babies for a short time on my deck but did not feed them. Wish I could have 🥰. I raised and released babies when they were abandoned by their momma years ago and that was the best experience of my life. That’s where my love of raccoons began. I got them when their eyes were still shut. Release day was hard. Keep doing what you’re doing and keep your huge heart ♥️ going. Love from Wisconsin

Grabby secretly loves Jim because Jim puts him in his place. The way he went and pouted when Jim got after him. Plus in the beginning of the video he was really biting HARD on the other raccoons and Jim! By the end he was merely nipping. He understands what Jim wants and is trying to comply. Lol. Hope he comes back before the storm and gets a full belly to ride it our in his den.
Grabby is well understood, you have to be tough with him if not he will bite James and the babies. Just like humans, some are wonderful and some you have to put them in their place.
I love how they all have their own personalities! My little baby raccoon seems to be coming around with a bigger raccoon, but the bigger one bullies him... until he sees me! Then the big one takes off so then I can feed the baby! The baby runs off too, but then I can call him back. The other night, I quickly fed him 2 whole hot dogs that he took out of my hand! I usually just feed him on a plate.
They're just like people, they're still chewing and want more to stuff in their mouths. This is so funny and so cute. Reminds me of myself when I eat popcorn I mean air.
