The Shrimad Bhagavatam is sAttvika in nature and aligned to the Shastras, while the Devi Bhagavatam contradicts the Shastras and is Tamasa. While that alone is not sufficient to rule out a text as not being among the 18 Puranas (since even Shiva Purana despite being Tamasa is among the 18), the fact that a text called “Bhagavatam” is highly celebrated in other Puranas suggests that it can only be a Sattvika work. Innumerable ancient commentaries on Shrimad Bhagavatam by Advaitins, Vishishtadvaitins and Dvaitins.

The final conclusion of this story was that goddess Sati and Goddess Lakshmi disappeared in Goddess Mahamaya and when all three gods prayed to Mahamaya then goddess Sati took rebirth as goddess Parvati and Gooddess Lakshmi took rebirth as the daughter of ocean. In our universe these incident happened in different way but may be in other universe these incident happened in this way. Bhrihu stamps vishnus and vishnu teachs him a lesson later, the sage kick vishnus chest where lakshmi gets ashamed and leaves vaikuntha, and births as padmavati in the hills of tirumala. So the lord himself comes down to tirumala as venkateswara and marries her and blesses the people.

Although it's every bit correct to say that but here's what we should also be considering that God especially Vishnu ,teaches us values through experience. He is God no doubt. But devotees will learn better if the examples were framed in a humanized way so there's some relativity to it. To all those people questioning the credibility of its occurence, I tell you that it may not be documented but there are a lot of similar instances between laxmi and Vishnu that have long been part of literature and folklore. One such instance is from Odisha. Where Laxmi abandons Lord Jagannath (Lord Narayana himself, not an incarnate)over a quarrel rooting from caste division of devotees. The series of events unfurl from Laxmi visiting a chandal neighborhood of devotees which allegedly offended the sanctity of the temple. Lord Balabhadra (same as Lord Balram) was furious and being the eldest of the Trinity ordered Jagannath to take necessary measures. When Jagannath confronted Laxmi about the matter, a quarrel ensued and Laxmi remained unapologetic. This led to a saga of brief separation which drove the Trinity and the temple to the verge of Bankruptcy. Soon after becoming too poor and out of resources, Lord Jagannath was forced to reconcile with Laxmi and Laxmi was granted access in to the temple. This reconciliation is commemorated via a vrata called " Sudasa Vrata" which marks Laxmi's benevolence for the poor . So this entire facade was just to teach the peole his devotees the proper functioning of a marriage , compassion for everyone no matter their gender and caste and to keep your ego under control. It was a teaching . We all know Narayana is infinite and eternal , all powerful and all knowing. A few bounced checks and a negative credit score can do him no harm. He doesn't need wealth to survive. So you see, it was their play to teach humans marriage and humility and compassion and mutual respect. Thanks.❤️.

The Shrimad Bhagavatam is sAttvika in nature and aligned to the Shastras, while the Devi Bhagavatam contradicts the Shastras and is Tamasa. While that alone is not sufficient to rule out a text as not being among the 18 Puranas (since even Shiva Purana despite being Tamasa is among the 18), the fact that a text called “Bhagavatam” is highly celebrated in other Puranas suggests that it can only be a Sattvika work. Innumerable ancient commentaries on Shrimad Bhagavatam by Advaitins, Vishishtadvaitins and Dvaitins.

From what i have understood about hinduism purush(vishnu ) is consciousness and Lakshmi(prakriti) is its field(matter and energy) which comes with its gunas .. and this is symbolic of union of soul and body where all pervading consciousness is Vishnu/shiva/Bhrama and Universe is the body(lakshmi/parvathi/saraswati)

Lakshmidevi and Lord Vishnu are both actors in their own drama, trying to reach a simple objective: to make sure devotees have equal respect for both Lord Vishnu and Lakshmidevi. One is Shakti, the other is Shaktiman. Gods can't die so the video title is a bit misleading, I highly doubt any killing could've happened. bull sht - this story is from shakti sect's purana that worships devis, so you will find these types of stories because they want to portray vishnu, shiva as weaker than the devis - the other two main sects of hinduism also does reverse like shaivas which makes shiva supreme & vaisnavas which makes vishnu supreme - however in vedas, ramayana, mahabharatha it is vishnu who is supreme & main & place holder for paramathma.

He created all the gods like Ganesh , Shiva, Shakti, Parvati, Brahma, Indra. Read Narayan sukta , purusha sukta, Vishnu sahasrama and many other ancient hymns from Vedas which are the highest Hindu literatures. Deal with it.

Bhrihu stamps vishnus and vishnu teachs him a lesson later, the sage kick vishnus chest where lakshmi gets ashamed and leaves vaikuntha, and births as padmavati in the hills of tirumala. So the lord himself comes down to tirumala as venkateswara and marries her and blesses the people.

This story description says it's from the south of India legend. It also states that it is from the Purana. Hence puranic films. There are lots of information that the north of India has not looked into and most have not read all the scriptures yet they are fighting for something they don't know but yet they believe. . Although it's every bit correct to say that but here's what we should also be considering that God especially Vishnu ,teaches us values
through experience. He is God no doubt. But devotees will learn better if the examples were framed in a humanized way so there's some relativity to it. To all those people questioning the credibility of its occurence, I tell you that it may not be documented but there are a lot of similar instances between laxmi and Vishnu that have long been part of literature and folklore. One such instance is from Odisha.
Where Laxmi abandons Lord Jagannath (Lord Narayana himself, not an incarnate)over a quarrel rooting from caste division of devotees. The series of events unfurl from Laxmi visiting a chandal neighborhood of devotees which allegedly offended the sanctity of the temple. Lord Balabhadra (same as Lord Balram) was furious and being the eldest of the Trinity ordered Jagannath to take necessary measures. When Jagannath confronted Laxmi about the matter, a quarrel ensued and Laxmi remained unapologetic. This led to a saga of brief separation which drove the Trinity and the temple to the verge of Bankruptcy. Soon after becoming too poor and out of resources, Lord Jagannath was forced to reconcile with Laxmi and Laxmi was granted access in to the temple. This reconciliation is commemorated via a vrata called " Sudasa Vrata" which marks Laxmi's benevolence for the poor .
So this entire facade was just to teach the peole his devotees the proper functioning of a marriage , compassion for everyone no matter their gender and caste and to keep your ego under control. It was a teaching .
We all know Narayana is infinite and eternal , all powerful and all knowing. A few bounced checks and a negative credit score can do him no harm. He doesn't need wealth to survive.
So you see, it was their play to teach humans marriage and humility and compassion and mutual respect.
