XFox, do you think a small iron sight would help with aim on this little thing? I know the standard barrel has only like 5” of picatinny, but I wonder if that’s still enough to fit 2 sights.
Would also making an alternative version of the latter barrels with o ring grooves be interesting, i sadly can't get easily my hands one these so i don't know if there is a point on the blaster that could make use of that..
XFox makes awesome stuff. However, I think the Solo is so good out of the box that it really doesn’t need anything to make it fun and useful. I used it in a game recently and it performed great, but like Xavier showed here, it can be hard to aim. It’s also so much fun to use and breach-load, you’re still having a good time even if you can’t hit anything.
I know this is just asking for a mess; but those foam, .50 caliber paintball rounds would be interesting to see how they perform in the Solo due to how well they performed in the Super Scope XBZ.
I think that one part of the barrel has some clearance for air to both go around the rear dart(s), propelling the "chambered" dart down the barrel, then simultaneously chambering the next dart
@@dogdog357 indeed. So, in an in-line clip there is a section of actual barrel (usually 17/32 brass) at the very end of the barrel and before that there is a section of loose barrel that the air pushes through (usually 9/16 brass). The “clip” section of the barrel is big enough that the air goes around the darts that are in the clip (the dart that is not in the barrel and is not going to shoot out of the barrel on the next shot).
❤ I've updated them some, now they have pic rails 😊

@@rippsteakface or perhaps iron sights integrated with pic rails.

Awesome! I’d love to see a comparison between this and the Out of Darts Crooked Cousin (they seem to fit a very similar use case). Bangarang!

Damn. Modders work fast.
Always.
There are two communities on the internet that work extremely. The modding community and the Rule 34 community.

Sweet lil Pocket Pew.
4:00 I assume someone is working on a manually-rotating revolver kit for this blaster (similar to the C-Yard Nerf Second Wind).
Needs a Rival shotgun barrel 😈
You gotta make an episode of “Can it take a K26” with this little nugget, I would wanna see how much power you can cram into the thing!
Xavier it's 3am here why would you do this to me! 😂
Because if I can't sleep, no one gets to!
@@CaptainXavier still enjoyed the video through hazy vision and nightmarish jolts dancing in the corners of my vision...
Need to add a scar to the long barrel, just for the silliness.
I wonder if the Mega barrel works with Rival. 🤔
Captain, is breech loading or muzzleloading less prone to misfiring?
Depends on the blaster.
With single shot blasters like these, is there any benefit to putting the dart in before priming?
Not that I am aware of. Some blasters it is a bad idea to load before priming. This is not one of those.
I don’t understand how in-line clips work, have you ever made a video on how they work

Thank you
Thank you, that makes sense
I believe the nerf rivam pilot had a better performance with the different barrels
Yes, but the Pilot is larger and does not fold up. I mean, the Caliburn also has better performance with different barrels.
fun fact: the stock solo can shoot 3 darts at once lol
Can it take a k26?
With the stock barrel hitting 115 FPS, I don’t think it needs K26.
However, it would be interesting to see.
You should make a youtube short on this one
Sadly the Solo is out of stock T_T so I can't get it right now.
Disappointed in the mega performance. Was hoping for 100fps mega 😢
With a heavier spring, maybe?
Hello.
Wheres my fps?
I give the fips! Watch the video and listen! ;P
Stock: 115, Brass: 130, Inline 85, Mega 50.
@@CaptainXavier oh my bad im just use to you going to you chronograph and doing it so i kinda skipped around the video.
