    I noticed you don't have as many viewers as some other people do, that are not as nearly as good as you are. They just don't know what are they missing!!!
    I am glad I found your site! Looked many sites for those bumblebee appliqués, but none of them looks as neat as yours. Thank you so much for sharing, and you will be always in my bookmarks. I will keep on coming back for more instructions. Thank you for sharing.

    Hi, I just found your channel and am impressed by what I see. I was looked for a bumblebee applique, and then looked through your videos and found you have very interesting designs!!
    I am a new crocheter though, and have mainly made afghans and baby blankets just by watching you tube videos. I am a visual learner and still don't like or understand the written patterns yet.
    I have made a teddy bear for a blanket and a flower, but was wanting to learn on doing more fancy. I'm a little scared but I'll try.
    EXCEPT in this video you use very small hook and yarn!! I'm afraid of that and never used before.
    Will my little bee be too big is I used worsted weight #4 yarn? And regular hook??
    Or do I just attempt it???

    • @KerrisCrochet
      @KerrisCrochet  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Michelle, all my appliqués can be made with any weight yarn, the thicker yarns will just make them bigger. For my recent videos I give the approximate size the appliqués will be with 2 and 4 ply cotton and light worsted yarn. I do have some easier appliqués I've made using thicker yarn. You may find them easier at first. I think they are in a beginner section.

    I’m done with mine except for the eyes and sew it on my blanket. Does the written pattern show how to make the eyes?

    • @KerrisCrochet
      @KerrisCrochet  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It shows a close up. I just stitched the eyes on and then worked a lot of black stitches until I filled in the area. It took awhile. You could also add a bit of fabric paint but I’d do that before I stitched the eyes on and make sure it was dry before stitching them on.

    How do you crochet stairs for a beach. house on pilens .

      Hello Portia. I have a lot of requests at the moment. I can add the stairs to the request list but without being able to see the house it would be a bit difficult to work out what angle the stairs should be on.

    What size crochet hook is used to make the Bee?

    • @KerrisCrochet
      @KerrisCrochet  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used a 1.5mm hook. I always use a size or 2 smaller hook than I would for the weight yarn for appliqués.

  • @blkrose5175
    @blkrose5175 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Can you tell me what size needle..

    • @KerrisCrochet
      @KerrisCrochet  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use a 1.25mm crochet hook is probably a size 8 steel or
      thread hook in the US.

      This is one of my earlier videos, I have been using a larger hook and yarn for the newer videos.

    How to decrease at end of row?

    • @KerrisCrochet
      @KerrisCrochet  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a decrease or joined double crochet. You put the yarn around the hook, hook into the first stitch and bring up a loop, yarn around the hook and take the hook through 2 loops. Then you put the yarn around the hook, hook into the next stitch and bring up a loop, yarn around the hook and take the hook through 2 loops. You have 3 loops left on your hook, you put your yarn around the hook and take the hook through all the loops.
