Overall satisfaction I'll give it to QSC. However, I can't say it's by a Landslide. The Alto has Bluetooth, in my opinion better bass when used by themselves and almost a third of the price. I have no complaints. They are more powerful and cheaper than the CP8-12's from QSC. Basically the QSC are brighter than Alto have more bass. The Alto are pretty loud at higher volumes but clip easier than the QSC. I think it has to do with the bass though. Alto are very bassy. You just have to ask yourself how loud is loud? Comfortable volumes versus clipping levels. How do you play your music. For the price of 2 QSC you could buy six Alto and be glad you did. I really don't even use my 12s like that because most of the time I'm using subs so I use my 8s. It's very loud. I posted a video on my channel where I just recently did a middle school dance with two Alto Ts408 and my two BOSE subs and the staff was telling me to turn it down in a basketball gym. 👀😆 The reason I said overall satisfaction goes to QSC is because they have one of the best warranties in the game and their speakers are very reliable. We'll have to see overtime with these Alto's. 😎
Once again you're doing it with the System bro!!!! I have a pair of JBL PRX Ones and a pair of Bose sub2s, im thinking of getting rid of the PRX Ones and getting a pair of QSC K10.2s. What do you think about that set up with the Bose Sub2s, and what poles are you using for the K12.2s?
Definitely bro. You could even get away with using the k8.2.... should sound great. My boy blew his subs in the prx system and got rid of them. He now has two BOSE SUB2 and uses his existing top speakers with them and doesn't plan on looking back. I'm using on stage speaker poles. 😎
Thanks bro! Wow that's crazy about those PRX One Subs blowing out, but not surprising smh. I was considering the K8s but was thinking about having a further dispersion coverage with the K10s with bigger venues. I definitely appreciate your advice and responding back bro, love what you're doing and great job as always! 👍💯💯💯💯
One more question bro. Which speakers has the farther and widest coverage between the QSC K8.2 and the K10.2 paired with 2 Bose sub2s? The pair I get is the pair I'm sticking with. I might get another pair of Bose subs next year, all depends if I book more larger events.
@@MarcusFranklin-sg7xd to be very honest with you you will probably gain about one DB louder with the 10s but overall performance is going to be the same. I would say for a more compact look go for the K8.2 you'll save a little bit of money they'll be equally as loud they just won't give off as much bass If you use them without subs like the tens would. However that base is only marginal you don't really notice a difference between 8 and 10 but more so 8 and 12s or 15s. Generally most people buy the 8 because it's the more compact version of a 10. Just like 12s are more popular than the 15. It just comes down to a matter of portability and if you'll be using those speakers by themselves or not. The only difference is bass response. 90x60 is usually the coverage pattern you want to look for in a speaker so you might want to factor that in for choosing the right one for you. 😎
Thanks bro, again I appreciate your advice. Yes I most definitely agree too. I sold my PRX Ones and order 2 K8.2s today, I can't wait to hear the Bose Sub2s with them!! Again thanks a million bro!! 😁👍💯💯💯💯
@@alidurrani4107 I'm running XLR from my controller to the subs and then out of the subs to the mains. You can keep the s1 pro mode turned off if you have speakers that are powerful enough to run without the assistance of the crossover in the subwoofer.
Where are you guys located, I need to fly out and give this system a listen! 😮 I'm a huge fan of the Bose Sub 2, I have one to match my pair of JBL EON One Mk 2, I would love to have a quad setup of them like you. How large of a crowd can this system handle?
I'm located in the Bay Area, California. This setup can easily fill a basketball gym full of kids. I would say easily 500 people depending on the acoustics of the event space.

I just bought a set of 2x s1 pro and 1xsub1 and unfortunately I think it will be difficult to DJ for 50 people. The bass above a certain volume simply knocks as if it had no excursion and there is no bass, only an impact can be heard. Now I don't know whether to buy a second sub1 or replace it with one sub2. If anyone has this set, please try playing the song Katchi by Offenbach and write whether there is any bass knocking at loud levels?
I'm not going to lie to you. The SUB1 is a rip off compared the a Sub2. The Sub1 is 480 watts for $899 @124db 🤔 The Sub2 is 1000 watts for $1299 @130db 👀 So if you bought 2 SUB1s ($1798/72lbs) it would roughly achieve 126-127db of bass and you still wouldn't be as loud or deep as 1 SUB2 @130db for $1299/51lbs. So all in all I would suggest getting one SUB2. It's s MUCH better value overall. I hope this helps... 💪🏾😎🤙🏾
Looking Good. Bro, I don't know how you do but I get the clipping and red light all the times. Maybe you should do stage gain and how you set your spekakers . Thanks
