I've never been to a skoolie fair but I did make it to Vanfest in Melbourne FL in February of 2024. I must admit that the community was the highlight of the show. I don't own van, I don't own a skoolie I own a factory built RV but I was welcomed into the community like I was one of them. It's not what you live in it's your attitude. I had a blast and I will try and talk my wife, who doesn't like crowds, into a few more over the next year or so. Keep the good stuff coming Chuck.
FU***** DOPE. What a community and man the builds.......Chuck you are making so many people day dream and connecting so many folks. Good Job man and Please keep rocking
Those fine folks in the Crown that you showed last were our neighbors while we were there! Their bus was really well designed, but they were also such nice people to interact with. Their pup, Harley, came over to our van every morning once he got a whiff of breakfast cooking! They both seem like they have a lot of wisdom to share as well!
This was so awesome! So much fun to watch, as I couldn’t be there despite living in Oregon. Plus, I have no bus! I know you said that didn’t matter, but I would have been heartbroken to see what I can’t have. Truly. On Social Security & have no alternative income. Very jealous of you all!! Livin the dream!! 🥰
Very inspirational, we are at the crossroads with our next camper purchase. I’m beyond tired of buying another used pile of misery. I have my eyes focused on this flat face pusher bus that is partially started into the conversion to RV. In your video you captured what I’ve missed for decades and that is the true spirit of adventure. Seeing so many variations of people’s creativity makes me want to take that step.
LOVE THIS DUDE! One of these days you should definitely whip out the guitar and play us a little fiddle diddle! I think the hardest thing about my future in a bus is knowing that I can’t take my music studio with me…. I’m still addicted to gear! Picking up a 6 foot mixer today!
@@ChuckCassadyYT that is awesome! And yeah, I’m definitely bring him some of my music gear with me. It’s just the magnitude of gear that I have definitely will not all be able to go sadly. There will be four of us in our 40 foot dog nose. The hard part will be narrowing my gear down to one of everything. Especially guitars and synthesizers… But maybe I’ll sneak a couple of each in there.😏 Would love to see a tour of that bus you’re putting a studio in! I think we all know that the Bus dwellers commonly lean towards the artistic side, so I’m sure there is quite a few of us that would love to see you some ideas on making a studio happen in a bus! Have a good day dude! You da man Chuck! Hope to see a live on Thursday!
This wasn’t very long winded enough, Chuck. More Cowbell next time and just lay into it. Question: did you install a alternator charger in Kevin’s bus and You doing that thing in the desert. Loved the vid just too short.
what always surprises me is i never see anyone bus lifers into astronomy. If i had a rig and traveled to all the darkest skys of the u.s. i'd have my telescope with me. I've just never seen anyone with on at these bus meetups!
he definitely went for it. these models didnt used to have it when i first started using them, im not sure if they do now or not, but its not really a big deal anyway
are you actually doing an install or just a long winded explanation as usual
Now that is how you start off a comments section correctly! A heavy handed dose of passive aggression is everyone’s favorite
@ChuckCassadyYT but you didn't answer his question about the bus fair video.
The trolls are always first
@@ChuckCassadyYT😂 sometimes you just have to laugh at these comments
Long winded!!! Lol The wind beneath our wings! Que Bette Midler song 🎵

@@ChuckCassadyYT I need a live in my life with soap boxes as high as the sky, magma hot takes, and subtle troll crushing!😝
See you next year! ❤
That rig in front of Wess's bus was really nice 👍

Also basically every server rack battery sold today has built in precharge.

You could be called a modern day Tom Saywer.
I’m going next year. Is there a Gen X skoolie camp?
