Had the best time during my 1 month rotation in New York City! Learned so much, met other medical students, got to shadow in on surgeries and got to see the medical life in the United States! Medicine is made more fun through experiences like this!

“The last surgery was a long one, 1 hr 30 minutes” skskks i once scrubbed in on an old school laminectomy which lasted for about 12 hours 😂
Hahahaa same! Scrubbed in on a Whipple surgery. It was soooo long.
OMG. An hour is like a normal lap chole. Its one of shortest common surgery. Doc, you have not clearly scrubbed in for Neuro or Ortho cases at all. Hahahahaha the longest I’ve been is 15 hours!!! My feet were swollen after 😅

So here I am ate, watching your old vlogs, 🥺 thinking when can i apply for medschool and will be i able to survive? I can't even get a decent score in nmat and i've taken the test twice and both scores are disappointing 😔

As far as i know po scrub suits is meant only for Operating or Surgery Room you can't use it outside because you need to stay it on strile line

SO In the Philippines, do you start clinical rotations in 3rd year like the US? 2 years classwork and 2 years of clinical work?
Do Philippines med school have affiliation with US Medical school to do clinical rotations or you have to find it yourself?
we start clinical rotations in our 4th year in medical school. 3 years classwork then 1 year of clinical work. Internship comes after, after you graduate and it's 1 year. Yes, they have affiliations with US Medical Schools however if you dont want to go to the affiliated schools, you can apply to other medical schools for clinical rotations

I've been here in Canada for the47 years of my life before Canada I didn't know how to cook,wash dishes,clothes now I'm good at taking care of myself and my family so how you doing there who does your chiors
Pwedeng magtanong? dati na ba ginagawa ng Phil med student na mag rotate sa U.S. tapos balik sa Pinas? Akala ko kasi iyong mga nagrorotate dito ay dahil dito na sila mag USMLE at eventually maging MD dito.

You know ate I got shock a sin why ansaya ko kasi yung pngarap ko natutupad mo I mean... Pangarap ko na makapagibang bansa prents ko tapos yaya ko na lang magbabantay saken tas may sariling dorm tas... Magaaral ako ng ust med... Tas sa newyork magcocollege at Titira pero ansaya kasi nagagawa mo And I know na di ko mgagawa toh kasi mahirap lang kami... Atleast pag papanuodin ko toh I'll just imagine na lang na ako ikaw.. °^°
