President Mandela was such a heart-felt human being, who brought people into his views, instead of segregating people. I wish someone who doesn't look like me, was of the same heart and mindset in America. We'd be so much more unified, without having to think about being retaliated upon. Praise God for his forever presence and heart!

I never realized how hilarious the late President, Nelson Mandela was. "When I turned 70 in prison, this lady came to see me to know how a man of 70 looks like. Now I turned 80, I suspect many of you came here to see how a man of 80 looks like."😊😊😊😊😊😊❤👍

I am afraid I have to say this and Mandela was not the man he was betrayed and was part of the Marxist/communist ANC that has destroyed are destroying SA. A interesting and honest comment by an African Intellectual to sum up the reasons for Africa's lack of progress was (1) Corruption (20 marxism. Marxism is one of the most evil and fatal ideologies in human history . It is closely related to national socialism and is demonic in nature. Anyone that is attached to it will regret it. As Jesus said "By there deeds shall ye know them. i am afraid to say that the deeds of Mandela and the ANC and the results are not good and very destructive

Mandela demonstrated true forgiveness and reconciliation. Having visited Robin Island and seen the prison cell where he was held for 27yrs and the small grass mat where he spent nights, with the cheapest blanket of the time, I can only, but salute him for his forgiving and reconciliatory character.

Today has been a day of great reflection. I have just listened to three great speeches of the world's harshly and unfairly judged people of our time. I was in the USA when Clinton started his run for President. Back home I watched the election night till morning. I admire his sincerity and humility. As for Madiba bless his soul one of the greatest human beings of our time. I had to go to Roben Island to see for myself what he endured.

H.E Madiba Nelson Mandela is a real state's man, a great discerner who even touched the hearts of the Cubians, Libyans, Israel and quite contrary to the expectations of some of his American friends. And that is what its meant to be a real man and leader.
How I pray even my Ugandan President, and ambitious Presidential candidate's have something to learn from his leadership.

      Kobamo ...
You are, unfortunately, one of the reasons Africa is, and deservedly so, seen as backward, impoverished in education and wealth and lacking in sophistication ; lacking in critical-thinking.
The people you so readily forgive are the enemies of your people ; are, in large part, responsible for the condition in large portions of The African Continent.
The Clintons don't give a damn about Africa !
Ask the people of Sudan about their opinion of Bill Clinton.
Ask Libyans about their opinion of NATO and HRC and BO.
Ask the people of Africa their opinion of The United States' Africa Command, flying over their Continent.
You don't forgive your enemies ! "Forgiveness" is not in the vocabulary of Imperialists.
"Forgiveness" is seen as a weakness by Empires.
"Forgiveness" gives your enemies a greater opportunity to destroy the futures of your children and the extraction of their wealth from The Continent.
You have lived too long not to know that turning the other cheek to powerful enemies only provides them w / the opportunity to decapitate you and everything you hold of value.
You don't forgive your enemies ! You eliminate them as they would eliminate you and your family.
Once they have been eliminated, then and only then can you safely "Forgive".

So privileged to hear some of the speeches of President Mandela and they're remarkable and straight from the heart. Truly a remarkable and distinguished statesman, but more than that, he embodied Christian values all throughout his life on earth. His life story and his greatness must be told and be made known to every human being--all races, any creed or religion--and for future generations to emulate and ponder on.

Mr. Nelson Mandela's testimony in speech is as refreshing as if he'd never been imprisoned at Robben Island for 27 years, or even been a one term president of present day South Africa, with the ravages and effects of Covid-19 pandemic on the nation, just as it does in every other country in the world today. And yet, he assuredly rests in peace, a man of the ages and, forever etched in the good books of history.
