Cracking video guys, well done! Plaice are by far my favourite UK shore fish, great fighting, great eating, and great looking. More of a summer fish up north here, but really looking forward to some this season, and hopefully get my own TH-cam channel (not this one) up and going! Well done on the plaice this early, i saw your Eastbourne session and i always found it fished better a bit more West between Cambridge road and the fort, about the last hour up to about three hours down also Seaford is good, West of the kiosk is less snaggy and all along too giving way to clean ground, some decent plaice get taken here over low water to three hours after high, and i rate frozen lug for spotties as well as rag and fresh lug with a slither of squid.

New to this, but, dont you take home and eat the big ones.. i use to love a bit of plaice when i was a kid..
I don't like fish mate so I just put them back I do take some for friends and family every now and then

Plaice can come out close and far. If say close at night and far at day as a rule.of thumb
