I did a bit of research on this Yamazaki thing and from what I can gather Japan is a small town near the National Park of Rwanda. Diluting it to tolerable levels is preferred but if you want to do it correctly it's a two to one measure of fermented coconut water.
I agree with you, I can't find Yamazaki whisky on any Indian website or newspapers. It is never served with Chicken Tikka Masala, and Lamb Tandoori. Definitely unheard of.

Like comparing Lagavulin to Laphroaig for example, or is it too unique to compare to anything else? Good question and I dont know if I have the answer to that right away. The Macallan 18 Sherry Oak is bit more oaky/cigar box vs the Yamazaki 18. In my opinion the Yamazaki 18 is a half decent whisky - I dont remember it being anything special when I first had it. I mean its nicely constructed and all that but it doesn't really set itself apart on flavor alone. If you like good sherried whiskies than Glendronach & Benromach would be my go to drams. And, of course, Edradour - my new favorite.
