Well done! Im right with you used to play it the 80s. One of my favorites to play. We currently play this jailbreak, rock candy then Mississippi queen in that order. If were struggling and a little off these four get moved up in the set list. When were on we finish with them 😊
@GuitarMates we play occasionally we're getting old. I'm worn out getting the marshall half stack out the front door 🙂 I'm trying to figure out the modeling amps it's sure a lot easier using a on switch. I've lived in calif all my life and was fortunate to see vanhalen rhoads etc in the clubs.. here's a story that will make you laugh. My friends worked at fender the old shop in Fullerton I used to go hang out at lunch with them. Back then they threw everything away and we used to grab necks out of the trash and sword fight( seriously) well one day at lunch it got out of hand . All of sudden we hear this yelling and cursing "what the hell is wrong with you idiots" that's how I met Leo fender he wasn't happy. I lived 10 min from a club called the goldenwest ballroom. That's where it started for me in 1976 I watched vanhalen open for ufo it cost 3dollars I'm a huge schenker fan but that night eddie buried him. Michael was watching eddie shaking his head. Thanks again for the lesson whenever I played it something seemed off. I admire you I can play but never had the patience to teacher
@GuitarMates here's the band I was in and a song I wrote. We'd played at all the clubs in Hollywood. Truly a wild time in the 80s th-cam.com/play/PLgNf0EbqFyR-9KXN65UgCdNt1T3OMYWyP.html&si=U0hde-T0IZcA32cj

I doubt the younger generation will ever be able to talk about great guitar players and only paying $3. Its hard teaching the younger ones, You mention Led Zeppelin and they look at your funny. I hear you about the cabs. I switched quite some time ago to lighter rigs when I was still gigging. Great to hear from you, enjoy the channel!
Hi Mike, I see what you mean, in fact both ways will work, its the same chords but in different positions on the fret board. I would suggest doing what I am doing.
Sorry for the late reply, currently on vacation. Glad you liked the lesson. I think this is already on my long to do list but will check. BTW it would really help the channel if you where to consider subscribing to the channel, thats if you haven't already done so.
Hi, glad you enjoyed it. I actually use THU-Overloud VST plugin for my recording. Basicall was using a Marshal 800 sound with some over drive and a 4x12 with greenbacks.
Hi, sorry for the late reply. I am on vacation and was busy getting ready to travel. That is a great suggestion and will add to the long to do list. Thanks for that. BTW it would be great if you was to consider subscribing to the channel. That would help this channel grow.
Hi Jonathan, I have actually already done a lesson on this. Its actually on my Premium channel here is the link premium.skypeguitarlessonsonline.com/courses/the-reincarnation-of-benjamin-breeg You will find more in depth lessons on the premium channel that would be far to big for YT.
@@GuitarMates Tygers of Pan Tang during the John Sykes era...his solos will certainly test everyone...'Don't stop by' 'Rendezvous ' 'Love potion number 9' would be a good place to start.
@@GuitarMates well…sticking to the NWOBHM, here’s a couple you may want to consider doing at some point; pretty classic stuff: Angel Witch- Angel Witch (intro lick is pretty tricky) Grim Reaper - See you in hell Diamond Head - Am I evil or Helpless Demon - Don’t break the circle Holocaust - Heavy Metal Mania Thanks!
Been my favorite Def Leppard song since 1980...and still is...
I hope I did it justice :-)
@@GuitarMates: U did...The little nuances that most don't hear make all the difference...

Geoff - in the bridge what you are doing toward the end is different than the on-screen and printed tabs. Which way would you suggest?
