I have a Gorr action figure, too, that could use a makeover like this. It's the eyes that I want to be careful when painting to get them right. I just painted mine and made it a lot more creepier.
The fixing with enhanced contrast of grey and white colours skilfully on different parts of the figure is so amazing! The upgraded figure looks really cool especially with the add-on base. Awesome! 👍👍👍
I think you are an excellent photographer who can make figures look like humans and have facial expressions in the photos. Gorr looks so real and complicated in the photo shots. His eyes are full of expressions.
I honestly think this is some of your best work, it’s such minimalistic changes but they improve it so much and really bring out the details and textures to his garbs. Also love what you did with the head, really made him look creepy and more withered than the original figure. If I decide to pick up a Gorr figure I’ll definitely use a few of the techniques I’ve picked up from watching your videos and this one specifically. Really great stuff.
I have a ton of marvel legends figures, but for some strange reason I really like the Gorr. I know it's grey and white and his legs are kinda weird, but they are hidden and you only really see his feet anyway. For me, it's mostly his head sculpt and the ancient rags he's draped in. I kinda like his sword too. Ken did another amazing job with this one and brought the scene to life. I'm also a very big fan of Dr. Doom. So I would to see what Ken could do with his white and silver legends figure.
I replaced my figures outfit with a cloth goods one I made but I might repaint the face. For mine I also did a dry brush on the necrosword to bring out all the details in the sculpt
great job! the figure pops so much more now. only question is what are your thoughts on the veins above his ears? i feel like they look too printed and was surprised you didn’t touch them. would they be something you might improve, and if so how?
I seen your FAQ Q&A, but I still couldn’t find the answer? My question is what’s the name of the brush you use on eyes and mouth for figures, even my smallest brush can’t get paint on without ruining the face?
Gorr’s gown has just one colour, white. I think it has nothing to improve. But by the comparison of before and after upgrading, it is obvious that you have done a lot.

If you give the figure a scrub with warm soapy water it will remove the mold release and factory oils an help the paint stick better
