She really truly is I live vicariously through Hope's creativity because I'm SO BAD my mom literally drew and painted my projects while in grade school all the way through grade 12 if not straight through college lol..Funny story from my past lol.... shout out to my mom because I was asked to be in the gifted art program and I had to say that I'm already too busy with band, choir, All-State's, cheer and class politics lol which good thing I was and quick enough to remember how busy I actually was already because we could've DEFINITELY BEEN BUSTED !! lol.. . BUT- before yall come at me I'm the comments... I literally did EVERYTHING ELSE LOL I was gifted in writing so my mom couldn't match me there lol!!

Your comment at the end about trying something new actually made me tear up!! I think it’s great when TH-camrs experiment with new content - it stays fresh and engaging that way. All people go through changes in personality and interest in their natural progression of life so it feels right to see you changing and normalizing that change. I’m sure it means a lot to a lot of people, including myself!

I mean I literally have no words that can describe how incredibly beautiful you looked in that dress and the amount of creativity and efforts it took to make that phenomenal look. To be honest this would be the top gala look if ever worn on the red carpet. There would be flashlights everywhere.

this is the part of art that i love - the process of creating, it can be so fun. and you don't have to be good at it to have fun with it. i feel like people sometimes forget that it isn't always about the 10/10 finished product, it's about the hobby, the process, the fun, the outlet to your creativity and sometimes even some emotions
Absolutely! Creativity in itself is art. The final product is a cumulative of beautiful ideas pulled out of your imagination. The end result is literally the process of your wonderful imagination brought to life.

I started making rhinestones pens cups as a stress relief cause of your videos. It’s helped my mental health so much and decompress from working in the medical field ( Cath Lab ) plus you have brought my daughter and I closer together we love watching you together ( she’s 7 please say hi Zuri sometime)! That pink dress is AMAZING! It is so beautiful! Looking at it, I wonder what a black liner would look like under it. Very va va voom .
Also, your crafting skills are just fine. When I work with a glue gun, more often than not, I end up with more glue on my hands than I do on the project. hahaha.
On the feather strips, added to the thin fabric, you may want to try a simple whip stitch to attach it because sometimes hot glue has a tendency to melt thin fabrics.

Hope, you’ve gotten so creative and every time you do something like this your skills get better and better. I think you should learn to sew because it’s a great way to challenge yourself and it can help relieve some stress. Plus, when you’re done creating something you’ll have that unshakable feeling of ‘Wow! I actually made this by myself and it’s fantastic’. There are tons of TH-cam channels that help you along the way as well as loads of truly beginner friendly patterns. Give it a go as you never know!
P.S. I’ve been sewing since I was 6. I’m 50 now so I’ve been sewing for a long time and lots of things have changed over the years. The fabrics that are readily available now are just gorgeous! I know you’d love these stunning fabrics. Sewing mchines have the same basic capabilities but they have features that make it easier to sew and they make it easier for new sewists to be successful.
