I really like my FTdx-1200. It does have a real-time scope, but there is only one receiver. You can listen or look for signals, but not do both at the same time. You've seen where the scope can go full screen, but it can also be set to automatically rescan at preset intervals. By today's standards, the scopes in all the earlier FTdx series are a gimmick and I rarely pay attention to them. Otherwise it's a great radio. The last triple-conversion superhet base station designed by Yaesu with many of the same features of the FTdx-3000.

One more thing. The radio lacks an RX output for a panadapter, but you can use an inexpensive Y-cable connected to the u-Tune jacks behind the radio to drive an SDR using the SDR software of your choice, and OmniRig to create a panadapter.

That is a nice looking radio. Yeah, it's a bit older with a different scope than an SDR scope. But for ~$40 you can have an SDR dongle on a computer or Ipad.

Yes the rx out or IF out works great with sdr play.

I have one. You must not be in the United States because kerosene is about 10 or $12 for one gallon you can't get it anywhere at a pump here in Arizona however diesel is about 3 or 4.00 a gallon
