Please include the happiest girl in part 2, i love jisoo's voice and i think born pink is her era, all of them great i love them all. But jisoo has something special for me
@@Ha-young_is_Just_Too_Fine if you find it awful, what made you watch the video and comment? Why BTS stans are weirdly obsessed with blackpink, there needs to be a study about this 😂.
*Jennie is so versatile* 💗 her vocals are on top and her raps too. Also Jennie always start most of their songs because their director said *"she has such a iconic and charismatic look and voice to capture the audience's attention"*
The native American thing was weird..the ululu kinda sound is also done in india during festivals of some state. And I hate the "cultural appropriate" talk..like if someone is using your culture for bad things then it's okay to be mad, but otherwise it's just a cultural thing and if someone use it without any disrespect it's called "cultural appreciation". I am from the state of India named ARUNACHAL PRADESH, which is located in NE of India and I can say we have more different cultures in our small 7 states combined than Whole America. And we know what's cultural appropriation is. Even the dances are similar in some part of our states..BTW WE ARE CALLED TRIBALS to this date because we still have our own god and dress code of every group of tribes.
Id ask you go find a video of native American rain dancing. The ululul sound is like this and the circling is there. As it is a sacred ceremony, it is not cool for someone to put it into a silly song as a funny noise. India has the ululul sounds as well as the circle dancing(most cultures have this), and kpop often uses Indian musical sounds. But your comment sounds as if it is discounting the native Americans. I'm not sure if it's out of ignorance or simply wanting to own the sounds. But either way, I'm not sure why you're acting like it cannot be native American when all you have to do is Google rain dance. There are other cultures that use the ululul sound as well. Id also point out that America has every culture from around the world within its borders, regional cultures, and 574 tribes within the US borders, all with their own culture. So while the whole "we have more" is stupid, let's stop acting like the US doesn't have any culture or is a monolith. It is not. Also I'd like to point out that the hand movements are used for the stereotype of native Americans. It's used in old American movies and by kids who used to play "cowboy and Indians
2:09:10 This is what happens when you have 2 vocal positions, Jennie is main rapper and lead vocalist(second best vocalist of Blackpink) this is a reason why she doesn't rap sometimes in their songs, Jennie's vocals are very important to the group she always open their songs and sings the chorus along with Rosé so if she raps and sings she has much more lines than the others
This! I cringe so hard every. time. someone says this. There are many, MANY cultures that do a similar warble cry and dance around in circles all over the world. It's just so overly-culture sensitive(like looking to be outraged almost) while simultaneously being very America-centric somehow. Pure cringe.
@@arqHHMI don't know. When someone uses your religious ceremonies as a "cute" sound combined with the cringe "oppa', I guess some people don't like that. Kind of like how people flipped out over Lsf using a deconsecrated church in their video. Some people just don't like their religion being used. Also I'd like to point out that the hand movements are used for the stereotype of native Americans. It's used in old American movies and by kids who used to play "cowboy and Indians".
@@sortaamy3003 Ok, but nowhere have I seen anyone from any of these many cultures that do warbles and dance in circles complain about this very vague imitation. Kinda weird for one of the most popular videos from one of the most popular groups ever to have virtually zero outrage from anyone actually from these cultures. It's always some (usually white) American offended and white knighting for some imaginary clout. Its almost as if none of this actually matters in real life...
Lisa's magnetic presence, unparalleled talent, and trendsetting style make her an unstoppable force in the entertainment industry, captivating hearts worldwide.

BTW, it is my understanding that what American's consider an American Indian war cry has been used in Asian Indian movie musicals (Bollywood) for decades, and before that in Asian Indian culture for thousands of years. So, Teddy copied that from Asian Indian culture instead of "appropriating" American Indian culture. Also, while some Native American tribes did use vocalizations, chants, and war cries in battle, these were typically more varied and culturally specific than the stereotypical “Hollywood” version (per Microsoft CoPilot). So, if you care this much you should really educate yourself and find out that the stereotypical war cry that Blackpink is using is far from an accurate depiction of any war cry actually used by American Indians. If anything, it is more accurate to say that Teddy "appropriated" a vocalization created by white American movie makers to be used by American Indian characters attacking white settlers.
A quick look at a rain dance would educated you. This was very specific to some tribes as tribes are not a monolith. It is a sacred ceremony. The hand movements are the stereotypical move people used for "Indians". Sorry. Sure the ululu sound is used worldwide. But the hand move points to Native American. Beyond that, most of kpop is ripped off R&B and rap. The starter of kpop says he came to America, heard the sound and wanted to do it in Korea too. Kpop often uses American sounds but yall act like this would be too far. Lol
It's a shame that now no one appreciates art and good music, someone with a good vocal and who plays instruments. Most people only go for the visuals and the energy. When you hear BP live it's completely different. Without Jisoo and Rosé's Vocals, Blackpink would have been harshly criticized on their world tour, but since they covered that part, almost no one observed them and appreciated their work. Just because they don't explode as sexy. But what they did was impressive because it is not easy what they did when maintaining vocals, dance and energy level high.
Missed Therese on XG deep dive part 2! Should've waited for her to join the reaction because XG hasn't finished making drops for this year yet. I'm shocked that you peeps didn't do BlackPink years ago. They're really known for bringing the K-pop platform to a wider audience and made it a global phenomenon. Their sound is very Western while keeping it very K-pop. While Jisoo is a native local from Seoul, Rose grew up Australian while Jennie is very New Zealand and Lisa is one of the few K-pop Idol that's Thai with no ties to Korea. Opa shouts is a cultural thing so if you're going to criticize appropriation you should check yourself for your own assumptions.
