I went to a special school Mary Elliott they had links to supported living accommodations for us with disabilities and learning difficulties. When I was 18 they discussed it with the group I said I would think about it but I don't want to go into supported living accommodations I want to make it on my own termsI don't want staff to help me why couldn't I get a council flat and my mom could help me with bill's and my shopping I have family who have learning difficulties and disabilities and need help with bill's and shopping but still live independently by themselves.
I have moved into my new flat 3 weeks ago and I love it especially sharing with one of the residents who has onset dementia

I want my own flat with 24 yours support In Manchester or liverpool as I can't cope in equalled support.
Am about to go into supported accommodation will it be any good
Probably not but if u need it u need it u won’t get much privacy etc
