This one definitely seems right. Idk how people were hearing Dinah in the chorus. Always love opening the app and seeing a new video from you! Lol it’s so weird that Dinah wasn’t given the whole first prechorus but Camila got all of the second one. It almost seems like Lauren’s vocals got put there by accident bc it’s just so oddly placed. Praying for an updated Ladder line distribution with the HQ audio at some point haha. I found a link to one in the comments for another video, isolated the vocals myself, and found a few cool things like Normani singing background for the chorus and Lauren with a high and low harmony in the bridge but idk how to do LD videos.😩

The thing is, even the HQ audio has a slight echo to every line, but the chorus sounds like there’s a second voice. I hear Dinah’s main stem and then what sounds like both Dinah and Mani underneath. Some of the words I hear the texture of Mani’s voice on, but I can’t quite tell where she starts and stops although she has an adlib during the chorus that’s pretty obviously her. I hear Lauren and maybe Ally in the post-chorus but there’s something weird going on with the pitching.
@@_spotlight_productions I hear her doing a high harmony, very similar to her vocals in Write on Me's and That's My Girl's choruses. (I think they all sing the chorus and the bridge - Dinah lead, Lauren low, Normani and Ally high, Camila kinda medium to high)
For One Wish or Ladder? Idk, the chorus to Ladder is relatively thin. I only hear like two voices max but then again, Dinah was somehow in the prechorus of That’s My Girl so you never know lol. I don’t hear Normani in the bridge but everyone else definitely has a part. I can’t tell if that weird robotic pitching is just poor mixing, part of the audio not being 100% HQ, or if it’s just meant to be that way. Like it’s obviously them but it just sounds…weird.
I think the way they were so committed to taking away the soul in dinah's voice was so weird. like why couldn't she even finish her damn sentence, on several occasions?? it's ridiculous lol. because that also happened to Zayn in 1D but he was still allowed to finish his lines...
