Young men form human pyramids to break a pot filled with curd, which is suspended at a great height. This reenacts a playful childhood activity of Lord Krishna, who was known for stealing butter and curd.
5. *Decorations:* Many people decorate their homes and temples with colorful rangoli (decorative patterns) and hang swings to symbolize Krishna's childhood pastime of swinging.

8. *Reading Scriptures:* Some devotees engage in reading and listening to the Bhagavad Gita and other scriptures associated with Lord Krishna.
Janmashtami is a time for reflection, devotion, and joyous celebrations.
