Hi, the model korg drum it’s more difucult to install. For the power cable it’s essential the 16 pin to 16 pin power or only connect the first 4 pin ? Thanks for your creativity
hi thanks for letting me know. what's more difficult about it ? For the power yeah you just need +12v / -12v and GND connections, so really the first 5 rows of pins are needed. I just added a 16pin connector to make it simpler for people to connect.
Super cool solution, but... can you replace the mono jack for a stereo one OR just drill the panel for a second one and wire L and R jacks? Internally, you can pan samples, making the mount much more useful for at least the sample, same with volca drum also pannable.
that would require two amp circuits then, bumping the price and the space on the PCB doesn't allow for much more than what's there. There's always tradeoffs with solutions like that and mono is one of them :)
@BG Ollie what is your etsy channel so I can follow it? When I click the link it just says "item unavailable " and doesn't list a store or anything for me.
You wanna really push, and capitolise your channel right now? Cover the 3ds eShop theme...you'll thank me later. That'll be a million views, and many many more eyes on you hundreds and hundreds of more amazing covers and creations. Your welcome banjo guy. Just make sure to have the thumbnail of a huge 3ds with a tombstone and a sad face
I will be doing this with my 2 Volca kicks. they can be used as a bass or kick drum.
thanks
Electronics are so cool!
Oooh very cool video Ollie 🙂
thank you Inky :)
How much HP does it take up in a eurorack case?
Sweet

@@banjoguyollie I see, thanks for the info!
Isn't the V Sample stereo??
dunno. although it won't make much difference going into a mono modular setup then
@@banjoguyollie good point. :)
Simple.. easy to build circuits... wonder where he got the idea 🤣
some little tree somewhere :D :D
Damn is this item sold out?
yeah it is already. I only had a small supply of first batch. I'm getting some back at the beginning of next week so I'll update the site then
