This is such a beautiful video. I just wanted to know that she loved him as much as he loved her... but now we will never know. She did say it was his choice if he wanted to be a happy asshole and leave Luisa for her, however she did continue lying to him about her contact with Noah, so I don’t think she was ready at that time. Both Cole and Alison had made so much progress in understanding what went wrong in their relationship, so there was hope for them, but it was too late. So pissed when Noah said she didn’t make him happy. Noah had it all, but he was bored so he took the wife of a man who already lost so much. Not looking forward to Season 5 if it is all going to be about Noah now that Ruth Wilson and Joshua Jackson have left the series. So tragic.
I, 100%, agreed with you. But I do think that Noah was a liar and coward. I am sure that at some point he was happy with Alison. He sure did. I believe Noah had got too much pride and ego to admit it, especially to Coles's face after everything that has happened between them. Life has given them another shoot, and cole was about to let it out, tell Alison everything, I'm sure Alison would have been the same. Not looking forward to watch season 5 tho.
Noah said that... in Cole's perspective. It's an unreliable statement from Noah. We saw that scene through Cole's eyes, and from where he stands - Allison made him happy and Noah wasted her. Noah never really loved her from Cole's perspective. Maybe there's truth in that - Noah always loved Helen more deeply. But Cole is massively in grief and feeling like so much happiness has been wasted and lost in his life by what happened with his son, his relationship, losing Alison, not having the family he aspired to...

Ugh, I wanted to come back here right after finally watching s4, but I thought I wasn't prepared and I'm afraid I'm stil not ksdnfdkf. They broke me and you just kicked me while I was down, but honestly I'm grateful 😂💕 This video is so freaking amazing, I love all the parallels and the song you picked and ugh them. I'm gonna rewatch this now, so I can cry even more. It's really gorgeous!!! 💖 PS You're totally right, everyone expect for Noah deserved better.

A very well done series. Lots of sad moments, but I am going to watch all 53 episodes of "The Affair" again soon. Am right now watching the 10-year old series "Fringe" in which Joshua Jackson (aka Cole) has a major role. He's also currently in "Little Fires Everywhere" on Hulu.
